what the hell is NDoors thinking? why would they promote such a questionable event... theyre turning this game into a "timesharing" marketing scheme... there are always gonna be players playing the game but why would they endorse such a horrible marketing scheme such as this?

i mean imagine the implications,, there are lots right now to flood this post but one that comes of the bat is that  the gold spammers have a going rate on how much a level 50 character would cost, 20 freakin dollars.. yeesh i sure do hope they know what theyre doing...  this game is such a great game.. they dont have promote this agenda anymore..

NDoors should rely on the strength of their product and not on the weakness of the consumers, which in this case is free 20$..

I have a bad feeling about this event. 20US$ is NOT a lot of money, but is still money. So if you get 20$ for leveling to 50 then its just some sort of bonus that everyone won't be looking forward to. I have seen other people who say NDOORS is desperate in the last few weeks to get players, but this move they did right now really does it. Still, personally 20$ for playing a game i totally enjoy is not bad at all. I am concerned with what others might think.

i hate to use "desperate" but that pretty much might be the most appropriate thing to use to describe this monstrosity.. The game is very good with all the flaws in it and we appreciate NDoors catering to the queries of their patrons (im talking about the patch release where they made stamina regen possible through afk),, people rejoiced and this what makes this game AND the game developers great..



HOWEVER i dont think this promotional event will do them good in the long run.. They have a good product here but this might result to chinks in their armor and eventually lead to the downfall of the game..

I hope all of these are speculations as this game is such a masterpiece.. this is not a bash thread but rather a point of concern for a fan of Ato such as me.... We just hope no one takes advantage of this as this would potentially ruin the game

Maybe Ndoors are up to something.. they have this plan... im sure they know there will have negative implication that will arise if they make this move but still they push thru on it.. we never know what ndoors is thinking... who knows it will be beneficiary for both game and to ndoors...

Marketing strategy, that is what they call this move. I won't call it monstrosity or desperate in any way.

Ok, people will talk about this since they believe it's not that good of a product since they are doing such propaganda. Though if you think about it, given what other players feel about this game(which is on the positive side) and given the rate of increase in server and player database, can you therefor call it as a desperate move?

Another is that as of this month, they are the game of the month for allakazam and we all know that this site caters to games that has good reputation, again will that point to a desperate move?

I believe not. Open Beta is almost over. Haven't you noticed the moves that the game producer is doing to promote the game? And the strategy they are doing as well to be able to study the item mall that they will be releasing.

This game has a solid backbone and even though it has a lot of bugs still and amidst what people say about it, look around? Check what is really happening ingame? I believe that what Ndoors is trying to say in this propaganda is that they are not afraid to loose money simply because they are confident in their product.

At least this is what i think.
