You fellow beta winners think we'll get the client download on the 15th or earlier?

Read the fine print (info picked up from some other forum)
When we get closer to closed beta we'll generate beta keys and send one to each winner. This process might not be completed by the closed beta date for all users. Keys will be distributed as soon as possible before, as well as during closed beta.
I hope so, but hope doesn't count for much in the world of MMO production!
They'll probably start to trickle in soon and probably go out over the next couple weeks.
I hope I get one on the 15th.

Surely you can say that you're in the Beta though, even after signing the NDA? Obviously that's all you can say, but still...

Anyway gettig an email is not breaking the NDA .You can easily see the list of people who have won on this site and will get the invitation anyway thats no secret.
People just want to check what the status of the invite.
If some one was to divulge the contents of the emails that would be breaking the NDA

You are right though People do get carried away in excitement and end up divulging more than required .Appreciate the concern you are showing.
The issue is people are expecting a beta invite by the 15 .
It was said that beta invites would go even after 15 th of Oct and it might take even weeks after that to recieve it.
Now most of us are thing that users at official forums/community might get in the 1st wave and people who won on this site would be latter.
So, it would be nice just to know if any of the winners here got a beta invite that would mean the process it random .

Our first step was to initially offer current Friends and Family elite alpha testers a beta key invite. They have received their invites. We will then start honoring our beta key obligations to game sites. This will occur within the next few days. We're currently working on some increased functionality for our beta invite process. I'll keep you updated with changes as soon as they get a bit more finalized.
We have hundreds of thousands of people who have applied to beta. The amount we can accept is very small at this stage. For now, please keep gobbling up our content and keep your eyes on the site.
I guess next few days is better than next few weeeks
I am guessing that the keys for winners in the MMORPG.COM give-away will be receiving them before the end of the week. This wasn't the only gaming website giving away keys too; so, it could be a little bit of a wait. It is a long time before the game reaches store shelves; so, a little delay in reaching the beta shouldn't worry anyone.

I'm not in the beta so I'm not breaking any NDAs if I say that an email didn't come very late yesterday that told me nothing about the Stargate World's Beta.

how much salary does everyone get that signs those NDAs? cuz i know all the games have professional beta testers that collect a salary.
could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?
