What bosses have you had problems with in this game? Personally, I've had problems with both Bran Castle bosses, Elizabeth and Dracula. Elizabeth is tough because of her mobs, which does brutal will, and deals AoE damage to the whole party. I got her down by forcing through her main column, and doing normal attacks (magic heals her). Dracula is very tough because he flies, and he does massive normal damage. His mob resurrects dead monsters as well, so you have to loot their bodies before they get resu'd. I killed dracula through a combination of luck and tought tanks.

Looks like they are hard. I am currently doing the Bran questline and is excited to fight the Bosses in that dungeon. So far so good with me when it comes to bosses. I try to finish the questline as fast as possible and so i end up fighting the bosses with my level way behind. But i manage to win.

One thing though that i noticed. When fighting bosses, why is it that there is no experience for the your group after the fight. You only get party exp if you are in a party and it is so small in amount.

With this, it looks like the only way to get exp is through the quest giver but i believe it should be as well from killing a boss.

As of now? I'm having troubles with Margo's Evil Archer, she is so tough, no idea on how to kill her, I think of using my scroll but it is helpless coz I don't have enough defensive and offensive power. Her attack is so strong. Any tips on how to deal with this kind of monter.

I had problems with Margo's as well when I was at the same level. What I did was use 2 vortex scrolls, which eliminates all her mobs, and heal the tanks in the front row as needed. Try to switch up your injured units with healthy ones, even if they have lower hp, then after that turn, try to heal them. The shaman is essential in this fight, and try to survive enough to use scrolls.

Or better yet, get a party!

These bosses are indeed hard to beat. You'd lose the first time most likely when you get to the quest. I have seen a video of someone who beat Dracula though with only 1 merc casualty. Before that he lost to Dracula  twenty times I think. So really, the dice should really be in favor for you.

i had a hard time getting the shaman's staff. it was pretty annoying because the monster is a shaman so partial damage on the minions aren't enough or else she will just heal them. what i did was use scrolls of vortex then totally killed the minions in her column. when they died, i just focused damages on her and i was successful.

I had problems with bosses in closed beta , but in open beta I've had no boss problems....No one on the message boards likes my formation, but it works great:

Front line: sword / sword / sword

Mid Line : Viking / sword(Main) / viking

Back line: Artilley / shaman / artillery

 

This gives me a tough frontline with no weak points.

My vikings can freeze both the front line and mid line of enemies while my artillery keep back line stunned.

I've defeated both Dracula and Elizabeth with no problems
