No backup by your sides NPC's =8*(

Ok, is it just me or does this not make sense to anyone else.  Your fighting your way thru mobs grinding or a doing a quest.  All of a sudden you start getting raped by a bunch of npcs that just appeared outta nowhere.  Now you start running away and head towards the closest camp.  When you get there, all the Destro or Order NPCs (whatever side your own) just stand around not attacking or helping you at all, they just stand right next to you and the 3 or 4 enemies that are pounding you, not lifting a finger to help a fellow comrade.    Now is this ever gonna be fixed? Does this happen to anyone else?  I'm used to being able to run for backup to my squad but it just doesn't seem to happen in War
