Treasure Chest

Just saw a guy going into battle with a treasure chest in Atlantica Online. I never knew that we can find treasures in this game. What are the requirements to join the treasure hunt in this game? I am really excited to know and go hunting.

I am a newbie too but I have seen someone going to a fight with a treasure chest. What i did was right click his character and click the 'observe'. I saw he opened the chest and get a teleportation license. That is pretty cool.  I then asked him how I can find treasure chests too. He told me that to buy a treasure map in the market. You can try that one. i haven't done it so far.

You need maps to do treasure hunting. The easiest map to get is the one-eyed treasure map that is given once you are logged in for an hour straight within a day.

The problem that i saw before thoug with treasure hunting is that other players can see the chest you are going to get once it appears. I'm not sure if this changed now since it has been a while since i have done treasure hunting and there were patches already applied.

another way to get a treasure map is by constantly watching the chat windows. there are rumours in there about people selling treasure map. you could go for that one. but make sure you have enough will though. i heard it costs a hundred percent will to buy the maps.

once you get the treasure map, you just have to right-click it in you inventory and a message will pop up about where the treasure will be located. BUUT! before you right-click that, make sure you have a teleportation license and enough will.

also, don't forget to travel around a lot.. even just for random travelling. it would really be helpful for your treasure hunting as this will increase the number of places you could teleport to.
