Trial would be good idea. I didn't get to beta so I never got to try this game. I never buy MMOs before testing them personaly and I'm not going to risk 50€ just to check it out.
I really want to play this game but a trial would be wonderful. Even a 2 day trail would be perfect just so I can see if I can run the game and if I even like it.
you would nt believe how many people in warcraft i ve heard voice the same opinion . i think a significant percentage of wow players would at least give it a try . theres everything to be gained from an early trial .
If we are going to concentrate on correct use of the english language, you might want to try some capitalization here and there, maybe a few less periods, perhaps a full sentence or two.
But on another note, I would like a free trial because while I am currently at college, I do not have much time for mmos anymore (sad, but true) and was told by a few people that if you are going for the PvE aspect, WAR does not require hours of a time dump whereas with WoW, there were some places that while you leveled, you had to level for a few hours at a time because you can't log out in the middle of nowhere or you get attacked before finishing logging out.
I would do a free trial. I have a hard time justifying buying a game before getting a chance to test it out these days. Games tend to have elements that either attract or repel a player and dropping $50 on a game just to find out you don't like it does not make sense.

Both games are going to require hours of gameplay to leveling doing PvE activities. If you log out in the middle of nowhere in either game, there is a chance you will log into something trying to kill you. That can easily be avoided in either game and really isn't not a problem at all if you don't.
There is no one place in WoW that requires you to play for hours while leveling or something bad happens. The same for Warhammer, but it does have some areas where you will lose your chance at item rewards if you have to leave, but most of that is 10-15 minute stints. Either game can be played as much or as little as you like.
As to the original topic though a free trial might be just what this game needs, because honestly there just are not enough players to support the number of servers they have.

Not to mention some people expect to be able to run new games on a really old computer, and get disappointed when they can't.
