protect vs. shield of protection

I was curious and so I finally had the courage to di it…. I merc roomed my monk and bought a new monk with level 1 protect skill…
then I used skill reset book to be able to reset lvl 1 protect down to zero, now I can use the other poassive skill wich is the shield of protection..
whats the difference you ask?
the skill Protect heals your hero EVERY START OF A TURN
while the shield of protection on the other hand heals your hero EVERYTIME HE TAKES A HIT, meaning if he gets barraged in one turn by 5 enemies, he gets healed by the monk 5 times inside the same enemy phase
