I understand that it takes work to do this, and I understand it ain't easy. So friggin' what? So now all we do is the easy stuff that's sure to make a profit?
Allright then you do it. I am sure if you found a couple million in financeing any of the MMORPGs in devlopment would be happy to code great AI. That's right, you don't want to go to the effort! Nobody else does either!
Remember when computer games first came out? Maybe some of you don't but I was there. They were all completely different from each other. Defender, PacMan, DigDug, Joust... Everytime a new game came out it had a new concept. And yes there were chances taken. But now look where we're at. And you guys are on the side of companies feeding us the same old things?
I am not on their side, I WANT to see great AI in a game....I am just realistic as to the possibilities. It's not going to happen unless Blizzard does it. Go to their forums and tell them what you want!
Now I'm going to go get me a beer with some buddies. We're no longer a dry county as of yesterday. See maybe America still has some hope in getting back to our old ideals. Think people, think. It hurts, it's hard, but it's sooooo rewarding. I have faith in you guys. I really do.

I am currently running homology searches on MetC and TnaA trying to find similar genes and proteins that may also participate in Cysteine and/or Serine degradation in order to aid my professor in his quest to knock out the serine degredation pathways in e.coli in order to render them susceptable to serine toxicity. But I will have to say at least one thing, its not very surprising that you come to the aid of this guy. Considering he seems to be over-obsessed with the art as some people like to state it as, argumentum ad hominem, and you make jokes that you know some people take offensively.

I'm surprised I made about six posts explaining the reason for why I will not debate with somone who uses "argumentum ad hominem" tactics. oh shit im so sorry you know all since you defend the country that means what you say isnt pointless idea, does it really matter if your monsters are picking some apples before you come to slay them? i can understand if your pets have good AI or Bosses but random monsters?

Well, it is nice, but it is not my top priority to enjoy the game honestly.
Mobs more alive will prolly add them flaws and make them easier to prey on for many players as well as making it harder for some players.
I would enjoy mobs more alive, but like I say, I am not even sure it would be on my top 20 improvements for the mobs, that dont mean it must not be done, it just mean there are many others issues that need to be taken into account before doing this strongly.

Wrong guy to attack man. Kudo's to you. Really. I'm no where near that smart. I'm smart enough to be a Navy Corpsman. I'm good at it and proud of it. I just got back from a year in Iraq and I saved some lives, just like you're trying to do.
But I am smart enough to see that America has a real problem lately when it comes to responsibility and the education system here has a LOT to do with that.
