Also - There's going to be more classes than just the Force Sensitive, not to mention they said this game will have more content than all of their previous games they've ever made put together. So all the content in Baldur's Gate I and II, Neverwinter Nights, and KOTOR will not meet up to how much is in their new MMO.
Oh yeah, they also said just because you're in the Sith Empire or Republic that doesn't mean your character is good or bad. I believe there's more to this game than they're letting on. From the looks of the planet details of Tython. It might very well be a sandbox MMO.

As I expected another disapointment just another glowbat game .... all those screenies had almost nothing but Jedi/Sith.... I dont think I'll be playing this one...
I dont get what negativity is already here. Some of you just didnt really think straight.
First, I am going to say this the last time and then the topic is done for me: sandbox days are over. End of the story. I was in SWG in the good old days, it was GREAT fun, but then was then and now is now. Just as most people to use telephone boxes anymore because everyone owns cell phones. People changed, and most dont have the social skills or will to organize things in the complex way a sandbox game requires. Any sandbox game today can never be more than a tiny niche game, and Darkfall is going to find that out the hard way. Sandbox is passed, accept it.
Second, if you didnt expect the Bioware MMO would be story-driven like nothing else you are just not informed. Ranting about that NOW is kinda like saying chocolate is too sweet and you are pissed about that. I know many people who tested out MMOs and went away again because they felt it was too less like the wonderful stories of single player games. If they can really bring THAT into MMOs it might indeed be a VERY succesful game.
In order to really appreciate and value SWTOR we have to "unlearn what we have known before" to say it in Yoda's words. In some ways I am sure SWTOR will be different from any MMO we have played so far, so look at it without comparing it right away to what you know. It will only spoil the game for you, which otherwise might be fun, if you set yourself an opinion too early. There sure will be things we all like and things we all dont, no MMO has something for everyone, but badmouthing a game hardly presented just shows you're plain silly.
I am excited enough about what I hear and see. Remember this is early Alpha, and just the first bits and pieces. If you want you new "lover" just exactly to be like the previous one, you gonna stay alone prolly the rest of your life, so accept a new game makes things different than you may expect and still can be good.

Me, I'm happy that they're working on it, happy that it's announced and happy to look forward to what they come up with. I've played a number of Bioware titles, including the KOTOR ones and thought that they were great fun, so I think I'll pass on the "this is just WoW, I know everything, this is rubbish" stuff.

I didn't think I could be disappointed by the graphics. Even I do like WoW and WAR ones.
I agree not that they don't look nice, they just don't fit SW universe.
Like they wanted to target the kids.
