What is Golden Tusk for?

I've just a received an in-game item, a Golden tusk? What is it for? And how am I going to use this item? It seems used in Crafting by some characters. Nah, sorry for being a noobie. Can you help me out pls.

    3000 of it is used to make a byzantine elephant. it's a mount which can increase your movement speed and defense (i think). i also received around 3 today. :D

    you can sell it at the market if you don't plan on making the elephant. :)

    I also received a golden tusk yesterday from GMs who lost battle against a player. According to the item profile, your character will gain 1000 experience if you use one. I never thought that you can get an elephant if you accumulated thousands of it.

    The golden tusk is used for the elephant, I just checked it on the market and it was very expensive I must say. So it's either you choose to have the elephant then you have to collect those items if not, then you can sell it at the market. It will give you a lot of gold.

    I have received the Golden Tusk today. The only thing I know about this is that it can be exchange for a elephant mount. I so want one! But, I only have 1 tusk! Have to look for more!

    that would be a lot of tusks to search for logicalfire. good luck!

    anyway, we got it wrong. the golden tusks fon't directly produce a byzantine elephant. it actually only produces an elephant statue which can be exchanged for a byzantine.

    tusks are also an excellent source of money... right now tusks are hard to come by and if your looking for mounts youd best settle for a horse.. elephants right now are a thing of dreams.. youre gonna be waiting for a long time if ou want to be able to collect 3000 tusks

    Haha! For an update - I still have 1 Golden Tusk! Yeah, yeah, I know there's no progress... Probably because I have no idea on how to get more! I don't know where to find any GM and I'm not even sure if I can even defeat one! But I want an elephant! *throws childish tantrum*

    *sigh* Maybe you're right conqistador... I should just focus my energy on finding a horse mount...
