I just saw an advert for a 14 day free trial, is there really such a thing?
If so, please could someone give me a link to a faster download server than fileplanet,
rapidshare would be perfect.

The 14 day trial may require you to put in Credit Card details, its been so long I dont remember. Just a heads up.
You prolly have to DL the trial from wherever they tell you. But you could try and torrent the game I guess, im pretty sure the trial is the standard FFXI install.
On SE's next (real mmo, not Fantasy Earth Zero or w/e it was called) it goes by the code name "Rapture" not much is known about it...but heres Wiki, enjoy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_XI_II
