This is it. Can't even access RvR quests because of rank!

So I was in my buddy's place hanging out and watching him playing this game when out of the sudden he was turned into a chicken!
he is rank 12 and is still doing quests in Tier 1. He got a quest that tell him to go to a place which is an RvR area. But he cant go there because once he is flagged for RvR the game turn you into a chicken.
So he can not access that content. No wonder many people stick with scenarios. PvE is boring, the system penalize you because you are level 12, PQs and RvR areas are empty for hours, so what is left? Scenarios or cancel when you get fed up!

well, duh.....if you didnt know this buy now you or he should have never ever bought the game, its been a well known, documented announced fact WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY before the game was even in beta.
well, but at least instead of turning him into a chicken, Mythic could make something else, like not LETING YOU take those quests AND he COULD NOT remove the chicken form. Everything on his action bar was disabled. The only way to remove that was by flying to another area lol
NO...why? because you need to enter an RVR area or attack other players for RVR quests. You can still go back to pve quests, i have done it, just not rvr, and this has been stated a long time ago. If you have to be RVR flagged for ANY reason in a zone 1 (or 2 tiers if you are on a pvp server) then you get chickened. The as soon as you enter an rvr area you will be chickenfied. But if its a scouting quest in an rvr section, you can easily do it, I have. The only RVR quests you CANNOT do is the ones which require you to kill people.

and yes you can un chicken, right click your portrait and click unflag pvp, after 10 minutes you will be un-chickenfied.
....and you can still complete your quests as a chicken. It's harder but possible. They (Mythic) dont' stop you from anything....except ganking lower level players.....and they do that VERY WELL!
You can still complete quest as a chicken. Most quest inside of an RvR zone are pick up quest. Pick up some mead and a bundle of kindling and a sack for instance.
As a chicken you can click on items and pick them up.
You just aren't allowed to fight, for obvious reasons, because at certain levels you gain to high of an advantage over players lower then you, 11 to 12 is the cutoff.
He could have still done any quest that didn't require fighting.
On a side not, why the hell is he level 12 doing T1 quest anyway, it is tiered for a reason, once you hit 12 you move on to next zone. Your not ment to sit back in Tier 1 till 40 doing quest.....
mythic never prevents people from accessing content yes it may be harder, but he can always go into different zones.

That's to keep higher level players from griefing the lowbies in open RvR. He can DO the quests, but he has to do them as a chicken. The PvE quests not in the rvr lake will be no problem for him.
If your friend decided to wait till 12 to do the RVR quests its not mythics fault. What if you didnt turn into a chicken and just they locked all of your abilitys it really wouldnt matter.
The quests can still be done but if you friend was to scared to do them till level 12 then the chicken debuff seems fitting.
