Why buy a game that will be crippled in 3 months?
The game is broken out of the box, so it needs to be patched, and is still borked to this day...and once the servers go, so do patches.
Stay as FAR away from this game as possible folks.

I'm still playing it's an awesome game and better now all the wankers who didn't like it have left the game servers to go find their next perfect game, it's true that it will close down and not have any patches anymore, but it's still up now and will be for a month or two to come, so get it and have some fun while you still can and ignore the whingers and losers posting here, you can tell there just trolling to get there hooks into someone to rip apart, no one wants to play with them so they hang around this site trolling for excuses to kill the boredom, you know they wouldn't be here if they actually had a game they did like, because they would be off playing it,(most likly by them selves still, as no one wants a bar of them) so Ignore them and just have fun playing your game of choice, far as I'm concerned Hellgate is a fun game!

Hate to tell you this, but unless you had this game installed and had an active subscription when the site froze the subscription page and made it open and free for all till close, I doubt you will have access to Stonehenge, as it's only in the online side of the game and was for the players who had a subscriptions.
Unfortunately new comer's can only have the free accounts which does not allow access to Stonehenge, sorry...( as you can't make a new subscription to the game.)
Still the free side of the game is just as fun and when the servers go down finally, you will still have the single player side to play.
Funny, since those "wankers" who left were apparently 99% of the playerbase, which is why your "game" is dead and soon to be buried. I'm thinking you might have reversed the "wanker" role you're trying to assign.

I have access to Stonehenge. I actually liked the game and really wanted to see it succeed. The biggest problem IMO is the FS took on too much at once and should have been more concerned about a polished game at launch instead of trying to please everyone. The better model for this type of game was to allow everyone multi-player access and release expansions. FS was a fledgeling company and took on more than it could chew. Maybe that should be a lesson to all developers.

Cool, I have a subscription account, so it was already open for me, but I'm glad they opened it up for all, I went and had a quick vist today to Hellgate london and popped in to monument station and was very suprised to see that it was very busy with players, I would say more than when the game was up and running, but i wouldn't say it was massively packed, but it was busy with pepole going about there missions and enjoying themselves, when this game close's down for good I will miss it, no more hunting in the WIld's after midnite, no more zombie hunt's

Questions for Tiggs, CM for HG:L
1) Tiggs I am sure you guys still have your "toys" maybe for some extra fun you guys could add subs for all and make some special things for us to do in the mean time?
2) Will there be a way for us to transfer the chars we worked so hard on to SP mode?
3) Will there be a patch released allowing us to run our own servers?
4) Will there be a way that 2.0 can be patched to our SP mode since alot of us already have 2.0 on our PC? I for one would like to go to stonehenge and abyss in SP mode at least.

In so many words...no access to dyes or stash, even if you could get online, your player would be lost when the servers shut down, and no way to even get the most recent patch, so you are stuck with a massively buggy game.

Personally I think the wanker's are out of order in this thread, the op bought the game cheap and likes the graphic's and want's to talk to people who are like minded on the subject of playing the game and he has every right to, what is not needed is the Hate police jumping into any thread that would try speak normally or even nicely about a game without there consent or approval, well we don't need you consent, nor your approval and far as I'm concerned, you an keep your hate filled opinions to yourself.

More instanced than AoC, smallest character selection of any MMO in existence, buggy after a year + of patches, and now shutting down.
I guess your answer is the reason that AoC has sold more copies than HG: L (and more than LOTRO according to NPD charts) still places way above Hellgate on X-Fire, and still sells according to Amazon charts.
