Grab Bag Tip
If you’re a healer and you want to make the most of earning Renown, heal those around you who seem to be doing the most damage. The system encourages grouping with others and/or keeping the top killers alive, so if you do so, your healing Renown will flow!
Edited to add: One word can make a difference in a statement. It's important for healers to group, and to heal everyone in your group, not just the damage dealers. Of course we never intended to suggest ignoring everyone else!

Well, this is exactly what happens. If you are not the highest level tank in a PvP scenario, you are not going to get very much, if any, "healing love."
After playing a SW, a WL, and a BO...I have experienced this first hand, again and again and again and again.
Even as a BO, if I was not the highest level tank, i rarely saw any "love" from any healing class.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I play a Zealot and have seen this a lot. It seems that the other healers are only focusing on healing the "damage dealers" to maximize their their renown gain.
I heal anyone that needs it.... But then again, I'm a heal junkie. I've played every healing class in just about every game that has come down the pike.
Edited for moar better grammar.
I guess I'm just weird then because tanks are my top priority for heals. follow by melee DPS. healing bright wizards is.... hopeless. I throw HoTs on them, and try to keep them up, but if someone wants to kill them you really can't do much about it. a tank on the other hand even with lots of people beating down on them, can be kept up for a pretty long time.
I think you should just find good healers. I have a few people who have added me just because I'm a good healer, and they know having me in their scenario is only a good thing.
in addition, any tank who uses guard on me (why do so many tanks forget they have this?) gets top priority on heals after myself... sometimes before myself. find a healer, stand right next to them, use guard so they know YOU DID IT and if they are decent, you should stay alive.
good tanks get heals, good DPSers get heals, good... other healers get heals. just learn which healers on your server are bad and which are good.
Everything creates huge amounts of negativity on the internet, that's what the internet is for: Negativity, porn and lolcats.
I'm personally a BW herder. I noticed most healers on my server only heal tanks and melee dps. I usually try to keep the bright wizards at full health, because at 100 combustion they can outperform everything,
And if they have half a brain, 3 bright wizards will make short work of any witch elf that thinks she can take me out.
In the case when I'm 1 of like 2 healers or the only healer my heals tend to be spread out more.
bright wizards know that healers that will let them go all out are very rare and they fight hard to protect their healer.
I see it like this
Bw at 100 combustion has a +50% crit chance and +100% critical dmg. from playing a BW I see that a 250 nuke will become a 700+ dmg nuke when it crits at 100 combustion. This can QUICKLY turn the tide in a battle, especially a tank heavy battle.
granted keeping them alive isn't always easy (or possible if they have 2-3 ranged dps nailing em) but its very well worth keeping a good BW alive, and letting them know you will focus heals in them so they can do 100 combustion, will lead to them doing a LOT of damage. Damage made possible by you!
What I've found on our server is the lack of people who play the healer class... In a group of 15+ your lucky if the group has 2 healers in it... Everyone wants to play DPS Class... Doesn't help either that Healers have to take a lot of crap from Ass Hats who think the game revolves around them..
That what I call the "glory problem" in pvp games, no one wants to be the support, they wanna get the glory from doing huge damage and taking down a lot of enemies. they want to be big Mr. Hero.
