Live event in RvR Zones

As a pvper, I must say that putting live events in rvr zones might be one of the best ideas Mythic has come out with.  I just had one of the most massive RvR experiences to date.  I was doing the tier 3 event at level 31 Chosen, and I dont think I even know how many ppl we and order had fighting.  It was total crazyness. This is what RvR is supposed to look like.

Mythic, keep these events coming as they really give people incentive to do massive RvR battles.

Anyone else had the same experience as me?  Btw i play on Vortex server

Haven't started the event PQ's yet, but guild told me T3 is absolutely crazy right now on Hochland server. So perhaps your right about this increasing ORvR. Unfortunately, it's going to take little events like this to keep ORvR going between the special holidays, cause I don't see Mythic doing different events every month.

 

Imo the 1.1 patch with RvR influence will introduce something like this as a regular feature..

In fact I suspect this event is a kind of a live test for the major content patch.

I just wrapped up three hours of hardcore ORvR in T2 EvC.

Holy sh** it was amazing. About 30v30 plus a few stragglers. Destruction won the first time (yay) and proceeded to have to both take down this huge skeleton and keep order pushed back. We have a huge skirmish until the PQ reset, and started duking it out again. Sadly, Order was able to dominate us the second time.

 PQs in RvR - it breeds fantastic ORvR. Should've been in game at launch, yes, but you know what? It's still awesome, and thanks Mythic for adding this now.

Same here on the Volkmar Server (T3 - Blackfire Pass).. Total Chaos! There must have been over 100+ ppl. as well on my alt (T2 - Troll Country) and was using my BW .. And stacked up some serious XP and RN ..

Anyone yet win a Roll in that PQ? I managed to roll a 24 with my BW and 47 with my WH. So I didnt get jack. Anyone got a link to what the loot is in that major RvR battle?

Anyways...

As i brought down my adrenaline, I did that (Witching Hour ToK) .. So far got a mask out of the loot (pretty wicked looking), but still need to finish up that ToK for the Cape.

Definetly a EXCELLENT night in WAR!

I'm hoping that each part isn't different each day, because that would leave people with lives out of the ToK =/. Oh well if they do. Did some intense T3 on Wasteland server. My BO was beast.

There was an epic mask, two epic trinkets and rare bracers.

I just had huge 6 hours non-stop battle and keep taking in Blackfire Pass. I had to logout 3 am, but hoping for more, that was mad fun.
