Ok, so I've been playing since launch. I haven't really gotten any toons past Rank 21, but I have a concern with the armor in-game. So far I haven't seen much of a difference in their appearance. One or two are a little different here and there, but alot of them look exactly the same. Higher rank, different stats, but they look like the exact same pieces of armor Im switching them for. Does this change further in the game? I know its not THAT BIG of a deal, but it does get a little annoying to wear the same thing all the time. And those horrible dye choices they have now dont really help either. How about a Poll.....

i said hell no but its probabel cause im a BW and they dont change so much on the other hand ironbreakers or black orcs have like a realy tremendous change
It depends on class, really. Some classes see really dramatic changes in the way their armor looks as they level up, like the black orc, as mentioned previously. Other classes seem to be restricted to a "theme" and although their armor changes as they level up, it won't be a drastic change. The Witch Hunter, for example, will always have a bandolier, a longcoat, and that sweet hat they use. You won't really see any with a chain helmet or anything like that, since it doesn't fit their theme.

This. Most classes have a certain "look" they are going for; the upper-level armor tailors more specifically to that theme (and tends to have more trimming, spikes, etc) and the lower-level armor is more generic and plain-looking.
I think the armor is okay. The problem I see is with the robe and light armor users. Their general appearance does not seem to change a ton. I think Mythic did a decent job with the progression of armor and weapons though.
They change every tier basically, theirs not alot of variety beyond that, same goes for weapons.
If you look at the end-game armour models, it seems they've spent most of their work there, which IMO, is a lot better than making a truckload of different armours at the lower levels, where you'll only be for like 5% of your play time anyway.
I'm just happy everyone doesn't have to look like idiot clowns and hobos like my characters always did in World of WarCraft until they'd spend a good amount of time at max level and gotten the nicer-looking, cohesive, gear. In WAR I get to look awesome while leveling. I wouldn't mind more variety, but I'm happy with how they prioritized it favouring higher levels.
And of course dyes are wonderful, though I wish some of the apothecaries would put out more of the dyes they make on the AH so I wasn't stuck with the basic vendor colours as much.
I would like to have some change in the weapon appearance, my sword has looked the same for about 15 lvl's and I have changed sword's alot...
Definetly agree on this one - some weapon types do need more variation in the lower tiers compared to others. Black Orc great choppas is another example of this.
