Hmm I dont think ANY mmo has to even care about if and when Darkfall comes out. When someone says MMO you think WOW/EQ2/ blah blah Darkfall does not come to mind. Just go watch some of the vidoes its lacking so much. For a NEW MMO just coming out I dont see ANY info no adds nothing so I think if they get 300k players they will think there on top of the world..
I don't think that DF will intrest the same type of players as AoC so I say: Nothing.
It might take a few players from WAR but not that many either.
No, I don't really see DF to affect another game that much, it will take some players from different games but since it is very nisched I don't see it really hurt another game. And if it will take a lot then it will be from older games like Everquest or DAOC, not the new ones.
Most newer game are going in the softer area so I don't really see it take so many players.
Also DF should be careful in itself, Guildwars 2 might take a bit from it. We really don't know much about the DF devs but we do know that GW1 sold almost 5 mils and have really good PvP. GW2 will have RvR and server vs Server battles. I'm not saying that it will take any players but they are both aiming a bit after hardcore PvP players. And it will sure be more intresting battle than DF vs AoC.

Loke the sad part is GW1 actually kicks the hell out of DF's graphics now. WHich they have already stated that GW2 has a better engine than GW1, I have seen screens for GW2 and they murder DF.
Also the fastest paced PvP on the market right now probably goes to GW1. I think you have it right to say GW2 will take from DF assuming it is ever released, not only take from but out class it in all categories.

It has links to various articles and things at the bottom. Should be able to find some screens here and there. The wiki page explains the actual game pretty well, as far as what it's about.

Looks guys and gal Fans of DFO when this game releases i am sure it will be good but is not going to be the game to empty other games, i'm sorry but there are just not enough of us Sandbox fans out there, you wont find too many Cookie cutter MMO fans going to like this game, hell you may even find Some sandbox Fans wont like this title, i guess it is ok for you now to gloat and brag that it is supposed to release this year but it is not going to be the Next big thing for the MMO market. Yes be happy it is coming but seriously dont be foolish.
