Well, at first I don't really mind those numbers under my character during battle. So, I've heard from a guildmate of mine that it is your action power, it is a game feature that allows your character to move during your turn, So how can I regen my action power faster? Since sometimes it just turn down up to negative numbers?

All mercenaries have an Action Power rating which is sometimes hinted at in the Mercenary Game info section. (ie - Vikings have a "low" action power, which means they regenerate Action Points slowly)
Mercs in your front line regen AP's somewhat faster than the middle line, and the middle line slightly faster than the back line... but, the difference is quite small.
So far, I have not encountered any items to increase AP... I really think it's all dependant upon the merc.

Oh I never used that option, and thank you for your reply but are there any skill that can Increase one's Action power? I've seen the skill of the spearman, and its lightning spear thus affect the enemies Action power.
I am not sure but i believe there are none. Action power is the bases of what moves you can do during your turn which is why it is very important. ^^
Now that you mentioned it, i do have also those numbers, well, if there aren't any way to gain to increase the action power of your character, any tips on how to limit the use of it? Or there ain't really other way?

I have yet to run into a mercenary spell or potion or anything that increases AP, but I have noticed there are several monsters that have AP increasing moves (perhaps something for class A mercs ). One alternative to this is to use your shaman's Will spell on 'low' AP mercenaries, like viking. It will cause the mercenary to attack every turn, no matter what thier AP is
So you mean brutal will skill by the shamans? Well, I've never seen that before, but thank you for sharing me that info, now I know, to tell you frankly I've never used that skill that much since it causes a decrease on your mercenaries life points.

Yeah Brutal Will from the Shaman.
It's a good skill to use on Viking, but it has it's draw backs. It drains health every turn and you cannot choose the target it will attack. I find it pretty useful on a viking in the middle of a boss fight, usually when all that's left is the back row of monsters. I rarely use it though, since I don't fight Bosses that much anymore.
Yes, I rarely used that skill as well, but at first I never thought of its drawback since the effect of the skill is quite good as well, increasing the attack power of your characters is definitely a big help during battle.

a question on 'you cannot choose the target it will attack'.. does this mean that the mercs affected by brutal will sort of go berserk? or the shaman picks random mercs to cast the spell on.

Re: Brutal Will...
Saw this on the official site, a description of the magic:
Brutal Will (Magic)
The mercenary fills her allies with energy to boost their attack power and send them into a berseked atate. Berserked mercenaries automatically attack opponents.
I honestly don't use this magic much (my shaman is usually just there as a healer) but if I remember it correctly, I was able to choose the merc I wanted to cast the spell on and the berserked merc randomly chooses the opponent it will attack.
Re: Lighting spear...
It's description on official site:
Lightning Spear (Magic)
The mercenary attacks the opponent with a Lighting Spear to inflict greater damage.
I've been using this skill on and off but never really noticed if it truly does affect the enemies Action power... The description doesn't really denies this but it also doesn't actually confirms it either... Since I can't see the oppponent's Action Power during battle (I'm not sure if the Health check license also shows the Action Power since I don't have one at the moment), I can't test it as well. Can anyone confirm this?
