Just wandering if anyone else is haveing this problem. It seems to me when im in RvR if my group our warband does not roll over the destruction first contact of battle and we die, that the group just gives up and whines like babies that they have two many or we dont have healers or tanks.Just people quit the first time there is a challange or the battle does not go perfect with no deaths.Im always saying lets try again or lets try a different plan.Dieing is part of the game and its not so bad,no real death penalty.I love RvR.I just hate quiters.Am i alone on this?

You are right that is one of the reasons I dropped my account. People would just leave the Scenario or just leave the warband and say we are out numbered.
Your not alone, alot of the players ive fought along side with were really pathetic about this, we loose a fight, and the majority of players think its over, those who don't leave for that reason simply quit because theirs basically no one left.
Then theirs those who complain Dest. outnumber Order and such, hardly an excuse to not get out there and fight. Even outnumbered, its not hard to come up with a good plan to spread out their numbers enough to pick them off bit by bit, hit and run, and plenty of other options. People don't think though, and when someone does come up with something, the rest don't listen, organize, or cooperate.
Its pathetic, and I can't help but wonder what happened to all those good PvP and RvR'ers in games like DAoC, Shadowbane, Eve online, Knight online, heck even Lotro. Perhaps the player mentality has just changed, perhaps those players aren't playing WAR, who knows.
This was why in DAoC say about 4/5 years ago I just started to solo a LOT no matter what I was playing. Ok I didn't solo so much on my rej/enh cleric.
Literally people would port into emain and sit huddled up in the portal keep.
Same issue in WAR.. people would just start vanishing from the scenario or log out if it was keep defense / attack.
Just in WAR it wasn't as easy (in general) to run around solo and do much.. compared to what I could do in DAoC.
Part of why I cancelled.
Well one of the reasons is this i believe.
I been in several keep caps and RVR battles. If order get rolled. And we put up a fight wich is what I usually do cause I am a tank I am the first one in.
I notice that if they have the elements to roll us.. they will continue to do so.
Stradegy ISN"T as important as you think in this game. What I find important is placement.
We were by a war band of ours and they outnumbered us 2-1 .. we eventually beat them back cause we rezzed much closer.
in the Witching event.. we outnumbered destro 2-1 but they turtled by thier warcamp in T3 and they got the most kills.
Its where you fight .. not HOW you fight.
If they have a fairly good defense on a keep that is next to thier warcamp.. we are done. we can kill 5 of them .. and all 5 can walk back in the time 1 of us can walk back .. if killed linearly.
you only get renown for killing and if you hit a brick wall of the opposition it sometimes isnt' worth is to players to stick around and give the enemy more experience and renown.. escpecially when your side is getting none. and in the end the thing you are fighting for is moot and has no relevance after an hour when everyone leaves
Perfect example of how the faction imbalance between Destruction vs Order is hurting the game.
I would say that people need to adjust their way of thinking in this game for PvP. A lot of them are use to this "we got rolled, let me log on my 70-80 Mage, he will Own them all!!, LALZ!"
Now, this is what I noticed in a good majority of games that had false half assed PvP and when a true PvP game comes around, people can't handle the heat.
during my free month of warhammer, i can honestly say i did not come across that . the only 2 times there there was rvr , the group would get trounced we would go to a keep that had no one guarding it other then npcs and take it there , i did how ever see some order leave and then come back with a few more people though.
....You realy need tto look into battle strategies...they're all about placement and the use of terrain along with the fighting part. ... Honestly you just described types of strategy thus proving that Strategy exists in Warhammer lol.
Translation:
I quit because there were too many quitters.
Constructive suggestion for OP:
Join a guild and an alliance. Better yet, do something about it by creating one or both, instead of whining like a baby about it here.
You will accomplish virtually nothing without some organization in RvR. That's just how the game works.
I was just wandering if anyone else was haveing this problem.I dont feel i was whining. You dont need to be a ass.
No need to be rude.
But really OP, a big guild is the only way to be free of these kind of people, they are in every game including FPS. But if they whine to much any good guild will kick them, bad losers are not something you really wan't to group with.
Quiting won't help unless you just go to a PvE game, they are everywhere.
I'm not being rude. As your title suggests, it's perfectly acceptable to call people babies.
Coming here to complain about a perceived problem that you haven't even bothered to address/resolve/fix = crying.
Now take my advice. You will enjoy the game more if you do.
My problem is trying to decide which RvR guild I would rather join. There are about 3 active RvR guilds that play the same time as I do. They aren't super coordinated yet, but they are trying and that's all one can ask for at this point (T3).
My advice would be to do what you like doing. Keep trying to coordinate through regional chat if there are no warbands. Keep a positive attitude. Eventually you will find a group of players who share your enthusiasm and will to win. If not, perhaps a server change is in order
Vault-Tec analysts have concluded that the odds of worldwide nuclear armaggeddon this decade are 17,143,762... to 1.

I love this game .Ive been playing sence beta.Just wanted to no if anyone else was haveing this problem.I guess that makes me a cryer. When i played DAOC RvR never really had this problem.I guess the game is just too new and people dont get RvR.But im not leaving.I am also on a high populated sever and belong to a guild. But i dont have a warband just filled with guild mates.Full warband = 24.
There are a lot of them.
Far far far too many lazy, useless players that dont have the stomach for a fight and cant wotk at something.
They want to mash buttons for a few minutes and get something they think is valuable at the end.
I've noticed this both in and to a greater extent out of game on the forums.
Extremism in the defense of Liberty is no vice.
This is the case for both Order and Destruction. as a matter of fact this is scene in any game that has an RvR type system. DOAC was just as bad.
When it comes to pickup groups you need a really friggin good leader to tell the people what's up. that leader needs to get people warmed up off some easy objectives then attempt to take the big stuff.
If failure occurs the leader will only see a few people drop, and the rest will stay to at least try once more.
That witching event annoyed the hell out of me... though i still had fun. Me and guildmate joined a Warband. Noone was saying crap... if they did was to bitch each other out on how much they suck... which was sad.
We would have to tell other teammates 10 times to kill fricken order in the event area to count kills... they wouldn't fricken listen... Then the people rushing order to their warcamp became nice free easy kills for order and they started ringing plenty of kills for the event.... cause of moron destro players.
We tell them 2903829038 more times what to do... they still wouldn't listen.... we tell them let them come to us. When they did we rolled the crap out of order. They still wouldnt (*&#(*$&#(*$&(#$&(*#&$#(* listen lmao
And then we were like &$$# this and played along with the idiots.. and got our ass kicked in the event.. just for the sake of resetting the event. God... i dunno how many times i wanted to send my head through a wall lol.
I know what you mean.I'm on the order side and we had same problem. We would ask people to pull back so the kills would count for the event. Not many would. So a event that should have taken 30 min took 2 too 3 hours. But i still had fun and good renown.
