High Def vs Standard resolution client ?

Hi I am interested in trying the "come back" weekend however I have a question about the different versions for downloading. I want the high defintion resolution client, but I am wondering if my original discs I bought when the game came out contains the this client or the standard resolution client. It seems like I could save a ton of time just re installing instead of downloading 8 gigs.

Yeah the discs have both versions.  When you install choose the high res option verses standard.

Well that depends on whether you use DX10 or DX9

I find that with DX9 you can run at Very high graphics with a good 8### series nvidea GFX but if use DX10 (Vista) you might be stuck on the high setting.

If you want to run on DX10 Ultra high you want to be looking at getting 4gig RAM and a pretty descent GFX:

GT260, 4850 / 70,

An 8800 Ultra would probably be ok also.

Bear in mind that the game runs well on 8600GT's and the graphics at the "high" setting are still pretty good.
