The single player version of Hellgate?

EffectEffect Member UncommonPosts: 949

How was the single player part of the game? Online isn't an option or at least won't be in the future but I did think the game seemed interesting and would pick up a copy for the single player if it was decent. How was it?

Thanks

afaik the game is the exact same but there's no one to talk to or party with so it gets kinda boring :|

    no it isnt same.

for 1 thing theres no stonehenge.

if you like a fps rpg grab it on amazon (shit just steal it, not like they need the $ now). hopefully in some kind of dying breath they will release a net play patch. there is STILL significant replay value in it since there are 2 modes x 6 characters.

dont know what to tell you i personally like the game, but then i tend to like anything that isnt the same old bullshit.

edit:ok it isnt really necissarily a fps, first/third and it is more like shooter/hack and slash.

also in single player if you get a dope armor for your engineer while playing a guardian you are screwed since there is no way to give it to them (though i bet some hex editing could sort that out).

shit state of affairs in online gaming when 20 fkn identical games can stay afloat while 1 unique one crashes and burns. i see a day soon where i say screw buying fantasy games since they apparently think they are auto home-runs.
