I need a new game. D;

Alright.

I need something to keep me occupied while I wait for Runes of Magic and RF online.

SO! here's what I want. It doesn't have to include all of this, of course, but just so you get an idea of what I'll looking for:

Free to play.

Something colorful like World of Warcraft. (No, everything is not a WoW clone.)

Preferably good graphics like GranadoEspada/Sword of the New World. Or cute ones like Flyff.

3D, please.

Fantasy MMORPG. None of this FPS and stuff.

Easy leveling. none of this grindfest crap.

And decent jobs that apply to both sexes. None of the Archlord: women are Mages stuff.

Anybody have any ideas?

I've played quite a lot of games and nothing as stuck to me yet. 'Cept for RF Online and WoW, but I'm waiting for RF to open its new English server and I don't feel like paying for WoW.

    I suggest Wizard101. I fits what you're looking for, but I'm not so sure on the graphics. Most people are turned off by just looking at it, but imo it's one of the best games out there for casual players besides WoW.

    Oh, lordly. I signed up ages ago and when it finally came out - I couldn't get it to work. :c

    I actually checked it off as one of the games I wanted updates on when i signed up for this site.

    I'll try it again, though. Thank you.

    Wait, so RF Online is reopening? I thought they closed down servers for good?

    I don't find anything official on their site saying they're reopening, but someone posted a thread about it in the RF Online forums here on MMORPG.com. My antivirus doesn't let me go to the site they listed though and I'm not going to bother going around my antivirus. RF Online not so dead after all

    Alot of us who were playing RF Online moved to ACE Online, you might want to give that a shot as well. I know its probably not what you had in mind but the games actually pretty good and you should allready be used to the whole race vrs race. The GM team is active, the community is friendly, the content updates get delivered as promised, there are plenty of events and a whole lot of PvP, 1v1 and mass pvp for the strategic points and advanced base wars, not to mention at any giving time both sides will seek to zerg the other out of a zone.

    It can be kind of annoying at times particularly at lower level but safe zone maps do exist. also the pvp is determined more by actuall player skill then lvl, equipment and gear type. At lvl 30 I was killing off lvl 70's in 1v1's and mass pvp, so if you are willing to learn you can infact do half decent in pvp even at lower levels.

    the cash shop does not sell any game breaking items and alot of what they do sell in the cash shop you can get from crafting it, by doing quests, or by buying from trusted players with in game currency. In all honesty though you dont really need the cash shop items to be any good or to lvl fast.

    One other thing I like about ACE online is that the GM team takes thier job seriously, there are no real money traders in ACE online, the Hackers get banned as soon as they are cought on fraps and reported, and to best of my knowledge there isnt a bot for ACE online so no need to worry about bots kill stealing your mobs every 5 seconds.

    here's the link have a look and maybe I will see you in game

    spinach: I didn't realize Wizard101 was a trial and I ended up playing it and liking it. Then I found out I needed to subscribe to finisht eh game. D;

    And the websites they listed work for me. Which is how I found out, but I don't think I was linked to them through this place, though.

    08030: Sorry, but I'm not into the whole.. sci-fi spaceship thing. Thanks, though. ^^;;

    Perfect World, like WoW.

    Known as Chinese WOW, Perfect World is a full-feature 3D online game that is based on rich Chinese mythology and set in the world of Pangu.

    Yeah the max level you can get to is about level 8 before you have to subscrbe. I believe it's $10 a month and In my opinion it's well worth it.

    dead: I've played PW. it's alright. The graphics are nice and I like the character customization and eveything. But a lot of people were pretty rude to me in game, so I left.

    spinach: I'm debating on subscribing, but it's like.. $5 more and I can just subscribe to WoW. xD

    What's with "WoW is for kids and its cartoony" Yes atleast half of the people population of the game has younger kids playing it.. but thats only because of its HUGE population 11million or something isnt it? I played it for 2 and a half years and I dont see how it's cartoony. Check out the high end bosses.  The Casual matter is only because its got so much player's it wants to please everyone. Some people wont like this because they want a more pro environment and such.

    Yeah if you aren't tired of WoW I'd suggest to subscribe to it as there's a lot of options vs Wizard101. Personally I've played WoW since beta and I retired a few months ago because I got bored. I tried and enjoyed Wizard101 because of its different game play vs every other game currently out there.

    You might not like it since it is turn-based, but the graphics are better than WoW.  I played WoW for 4 years and finally kicked the addiction.  Right now my main is Atlantica Online.  It meets your requirements.  Some say it's another asian grindfest, but I'd have to disagree.  I believe they're getting grinding and killing mobs without a quest mixed up.  Levels come fairly fast imho, can get to level 30 in under 24 hours easy.  I'm currently level 97, and yes I haven't done a quest in awhile, but killing monsters is hardly a 'grind' since you actually have to use your brain to win fights.  Hope you try it and like it!

    Maybe I missed something, but what does this have to do with me finding a new game while I wait for my expansions and game cards? I don't recall anyone saying it was cartoony, but I could be wrong.

    I tried Atlantica. Is was fun, but I don't like the battling. It's like Final Fantasy. I like it better when I can just run up and kill something. So far, Last Chaos got my attention and I'm going to try ROSE online. P:

    yeah rf is reopening in north america. I can't really find any good games on F2P honestly. I would advise looking for a good P2P game if you play alot.
