ROBOTECH/MACROSS
this would be an amazing MMO ... the city inside the battleship .. customizing your valkyrie .. ect..
BLADERUNNER - hunting nexus 6 models across a urban sprawl, or evading hunters while being a replicant ... you could be a genetic crafter ...crafting in this game could be amazing ...
VAMPIRE THE MASQUERADE or UNDERWORLD MMO .. i have heard this is in development ... this would still be sick

I can imagine a Bladerunner & Vampire crossover, some dark fantasy/sci-fi thing. We really dont have something like that. Sounds like a cool set of ideas, only in Macross I never was so much. I mean I love to watch the Anime but I cant imagine that as MMO. Maybe as Online FPS.

These are the exact two I was thinking of. lol lol lol.
Third: Dune. I need a world, though, less boring tasking and raiding. I need exploration. Travel. More depth in terms of customization of vehicles, characters, houses, factories, etc. More opportunities to feel a part of a world.
The last one might be good.
My MMO Wish List
Pokemon -- Just think if you could battle with your pokemon catch hundreds of them win gym badges. Obviously in a more 3d type world. But it would be an interesting concept since your pokemon would level and not you meaning there would be hundreds of levels.
Resident Evil -- I think this could be a lot of fun. They tried an online version that fell short but it has a lot of potential. I know I'd be excited playing a more of a survival MMO. But an outbreak on a massive scale that takes you around the world would be fun.
Starcraft -- It's Blizzard... it has it's following.. but would be a departure from WoW. I think it would feel fresh and fun and Blizzard knows how to appeal to the masses and this would be an opportunity for Blizzard to have an up-to-date game. (though i know they're already working on another one)
Legend of Zelda -- There are so many different races and ways to play Link is bascially a Warrior and Hunter and morphes into animals... there is much that could be done with that.
But i am excited for some that are known about. Guild Wars 2, Aion, Lego MMO, Star Wars...

I agree that a Blade Runner MMO would be awesome. As a big Phillip K. Dick fan, I'd really like to see an MMO that has elements from several of his novels.
My dream MMO would be a Sci-Fi/Cyberpunk MMO with space and ground combat, that's skill based and is sandboxy.

I'd take something based off William Gibson's Neuromancer and Count Zero books as well. The World of Darkness MMO hopefully will rock and I am sort of glad CCP is doing it rather then a mainstream company looking to copy traditional leveling style MMO's. Hopefully it will be a good skill based MMO on par to EVE Online. As for Robotech/Macross well I am not really into that even though I do have the original Macross 80's movie.

A lot and more then enough to fill a MMO along with enough not known to allow for some artistic liberties by developers. Dune would be a awesome MMO if handled correctly. Again a skill based game with PvP options similar to EVE Online in terms to how people progress from relatively safe to full on open pvp environments. I believe there are many threads on the subject of a Dune MMO.

Sometimes I' m wondering why the developers should pay for a franchise anyways. Guild Wars and Lineage proved that you don't need another franchise. :P

MMo's I'd like to see..
1. Dracula - The ultimate classic horror tale. Epic storyline with plenty of Transylvania and other areas to explore and it definitely would have tons of lore for you lore people out there.
2. Age of Empires - Probably the 3rd best rts other than Starcraft and Warhammer 40k.
3. I want Lotro redone but this time we get to play Mordor with better pvp, better combat and a much better storyline.
I agree with the last one, here are a few that I would like to see in order.
1. A real Star Wars MMO, not KOTOR, and not the new SWG.
2. Underworld Online
3. X-Men (or Mutants) Online, your power is chosen at random upon account creation. The "class" of your powers increases as you play, with 5 being the maximum but hardly reachable.
4. A new accurate Matrix Online, the current one has taken the story and ruined it.
5. Just a random thought, but why doesn't someone try to make a Sin City Online? (Sandbox)
6. Lastly, where the hell is Planetside 2? Cmon SOE, stop chasing random game ideas. You have a guaranteed success right in front of you.
STOP WHINING!
With White Wolf and CCP merging there is hope that a Vampire vs. Werewolf MMO could be released. I would love to see a Vampire vs. Werewolf MMO but along with everything else if its not Elves vs. Dwarves it will not see the light.

You wouldn't understand
1) a fallout open world sandbox MMO
2) Babylon 5 MMO (basically EVE with more ground based avatar gameplay)
3) Madden Football Online ... why no baseball and Hockey are doing it.
My top 3 would have to be,
Monopoly Online -- Dont talk to me about the clones, but a full featured and professionally developed monopoly online game will be fun
Freelancer -- I'm sure many of you have heard of this game by Microsoft. Its a one-of-a-kind space combat sim.
Battlestar Galactica -- This series has a lot of potential to become an MMO. Its also easy to make it RvR
