EQ2 on a widescreen display?

Has anyone ever seen EQ2 running on a widescreen aspect ratio? My gaming rig is connected to a 26" widescreen LCD HDTV display, at 1366x768 (16:9) or 1280x1024 (16:10.) I have noticed that the recent EQ2 screenshots have a kind of ghetto letter-box effect on-screen, where some of the UI elements are placed. If my native resolution is already 16:9, am I stuck with those dumb letterbox bars at the top and bottom?

The letterbox bars can be removed or adjusted to whatever size you want them to be. Quite a few of the systems in SOE's game room we're hooked up to the Apple Cinema Display monitors which are widescreen.
