We have PVE and PVP, but I think there needs to be another game category called HARDCORE, and perhaps the default opposite is CASUAL.
HARDCORE = games with solid death penalties or corpse recovery or looting. Perhaps difficult crafting systems. No hand-holding in cruel and brutal worlds.
CASUAL = games with minor penalties for losing/dying. Simplified crafting. Helpful tips such as golden question marks above quest NPC heads, etc...
The purpose of this additional ranking is to help players sort through the game lists and save time hunting for the right MMO.

Honestly how many games can go under the HARDCORE category, aside from EVE online (and apparently Darkfall but i'm not even gonna go there)
Everquest, UO, Shadowbane. Some other indie titles.
They're still out there, but have to hunt; that's the problem.
But most importantly, this acts as a flag to would-be dev's that there is a niche market not being fully exploited.
