Bewitching question

I got a question to all gamers who uses the bewitching scroll. I am in the quest wherein I would kill striped bats. but whenever I tried to use my bewitching scroll, it says party organization failed. I checked my character and it doesn't belong to another party. Any thoughts why it always failed whenever I used the bewitching scroll?

Not sure but it may be a block on certain mobs.  I tried it somewhere in one of the dungeons (can't remember which one) but no matter how close I got to a mob and no matter how many times I tried it failed.

I believe there is a level difference limit for this one as that happened to me as well and so i went t a higher level dungeon with mobs closer to my level. Come to think of it, it was with the bran castle that somehow. it didn't work for. In any case i will try to check this one once more to verify and will post my observation soon. ^-^

I logged in just this morning and I tried doing it again, exactly the same as before, and I have partied with those bats. I haven't leveled up or anything. I just don't know the reason why there is this party organization failed message yesterday.

Bewitching scrolls have level limits on them, if the mob you're trying to bewitch is higher than the scroll maximum it will tell you that.  Also if you're in a party it will tell you that (but you said you aren't in a party so that can't be it).  If you use the scroll and no viable mobs can be found it will say that as well,  this means if the bats are partied together you cannot bewtich them.

yeah he is right you cannot bewitch those monster if your level gap is higher than 20...
