Pax Imperius is a gaming guild that was formed in 2001 in preparation for Star Wars Galaxies. Since then, while still maintaining a strong presence on the Scylla server, we have also expanded into other MMO’s. However it’s Star Wars that is our heart and The Old Republic is bringing everybody back together into one game once again. While the structure and setting of Pax differs from game to game there is one constant… a feeling of family… and we would like you to join our family.

What Faction will you play?
We will be SITH aligned. This does not mean you have to be a Force user, we desire all professions in our guild.
Who can join?
We have open recruitment from now until the release of TOR. Our guild will be structured to accommodate both PvE and PvP and while RP is not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged. Crafting and Space will also be heavily supported as well. We do not have an age limit, but we require a level of maturity from all our members and the acceptance of our Charter.
What is this Charter you speak of?
Our Charter is a ‘living document’ that out lines our guild structure, Chain of Command, Rules of Engagement, Codes of Conduct and general guild rules. Ours is currently under construction and will not be fully complete until we have more details on the various aspects of TOR.
Why join Pax Imperius?
- We support all play stylesWe have a long history of working together for the benefit of both the Guild as a whole and individual members. A Pax member is always willing to give a helping hand (or claw, or fin) to another member.
- Our forums are a great way to get to know other Pax members and even indulge in some RP fiction.
- Our members have years of experience in RP, PvP and PvE in a variety of games and many are held in respect on their various servers. They will always be willing to give advice and a hand if you need it.
- This will NOT be a guild that folds. Our SWG Chapter of Pax Imperius has been active since Scylla opened… and has remained active through the games turbulent history… and will remain so until the servers close.
- We regularly hold in game training sessions and RP events which are a great way to interact with other members and gives you a break from grinding, questing or PvPing.
- You will be apart of a guild that will be a force to be reckoned with on our server. We strive to be both feared and respected within our community in all our games.
- Above all Pax is a family (most of whom are huge Star Wars fans) and you will form friendships within our guild. Many of us have become RL friends, traveling to meet up with each other when we can and one of our members even hosts a New Years Eve party where all Pax members are invited.
What is your guild structure?
The structure of Pax will not be finalized until BioWare released more info on TOR. We believe that a guild’s structure should fit in with the mechanics and features of the game in which we are playing. However the basic structure is as follows:The Dread Lord Sanguinous Rex.
- The Pax Inner Council… lead by the Overlord.
- The Pax Outer Council
- General Membership.
- Recruit
We will have Chapters and subgroups within the guild but this is where information on TOR is most important.
What Server will Pax be playing on?
We can not answer that until servers and server styles are announced. Once they are we will discuss our options with all our members and the Inner Council will make a decision. It will be a U.S. based server but we have members from around the world.

Even if you aren't looking for a Sith aligned guild for TOR yet, you should come join the community. Pax, as the other poster mentioned, has been around since long before the launch of SWG. It has grown into a very large online community, with groups in many games, MMO and otherwise.
However, if you do find yourself liking the idea of a well organized, mature Sith guild for TOR, with a large group of MMO veterans, helpful and fun loving folks, you should follow the link provided by the Overlord, and check us out.

Just like Vega and Shem said, PAX isn't just a guild made for TOR, just take a look at the website it's all fun. So what for three years you can be in a guild and have some good fun before the game comes out then alot more when it does. I'm new to PAX and so far the guys there are pretty cool and we're lookin for people to add to the guild.

As a longtime SWG player (on Scylla, no less), PAX is by far one of the finest guilds it has ever been my privilege to fight against: top-notch players and just generally good folks all-around.

People are already making clans for this game? Its nowhere near release and will be massively single player. Why on earth would you make a clan for a singleplayer game?

We know what we are doing thankyou very much... we have had plenty of experience in this area. If you want to believe that TOR will be a single player game then you go ahead.

Not that they need me to defend them, but Pax was around before SWG launched. They aren't "making" a clan. They have been "made" for a very long time now.

On topic, PAX isn't just a 'guild' or 'clan' but an entire gaming community, expressing our interest in the upcoming TOR game in which we will definetely have a presence in. We've got stand alone guilds going in several games atm, but TOR is getting a lot of excitement, for sure.
I think the game has a lot of hopes on it from the MMO community, in general. Hoping it delivers.
Pax is a bunch of garbage. On Chilastra Ronin was the most feared Rebel guild. Pax was a bunch of no-bodies. Never saw Pax do any PvP and their city was a joke compared to SkunkCanyon's and ITK's.
