I'm intrested in possibly buying the new xpac and starting up again. But old memories of WoW leave a bad taste in my mouth with the whole feeling like im doing a job in playing a game feeling. So whats new that breaks the mold in Wotlk? Really anything is welcome from stupid graphics upgrades to new and intresting stats on weapons. Just looking for an excuse to either play or pass it by.

For me it's a return to the lore of old Azeroth (and the feeling and atmosphere) and a scrap of all the space nonsense. You can play the game in any way you want, although agreeably, it's easy to get lost in the sea of achievements (now monitor, recorded and presented).
Probably nothing is new at the core; you just grind to level 80 and then grind for equipment ad aeternum
Grind to a level where blizz can't even ban you then we'll talk.
