Hey! I didn't know that previews and the information in them had an expiration date! Probably printed on the bottom of them, and I didn't pick it up and look under it!
That's what I love about the internet, you find out a whole bunch of new things.

So why even make an expansion if you are going to market it this poorly?
Omg did you see, they release advertisement on release day HAHAH
Anyways I'm not buying into this expansion pack. poor list of features, more dungeons more late nights waiting for strategy try outs...
WoW is fun for me right now... and fun is all I want in a game not late nights of poeple getting fustrated
Example of a cool quest in WoW expansion: take form of a bird and raid hawk eggs on a monsterous mountain side, it sounds simple but it sure beats kill 10 this, kill 40 that. and kill 20 this and loot 50 that. /rant over hehe
Its interesting, though, how WOW had a count down timer on the front page, yet Everquest2 did not really have a presence.
The advertising department of SOE must be full of very "introvert" people. For a company that size, their advertisment campaigns or the lack of them is shameful. I cannot understand how they get away with this.
They had a "welcome back" campaign running during the summer, but they should have done things like that years ago, when EQ2 was still fairly new and had actually overcome most of its launch problems.
SOE seems to be content with just enough players to run their games with a small profit...
As i've said here many times the SOE marketing department is frankly abysmal..but with this expansion in the uk at least there have been reported sightings of it in SHOPS!!!! honestly thats not happened since the days of KoS,so maybe SOE being absorbed into the PS3 department of sony will have some affect on the advertising budget

They had a preview about it earlier. You probably missed it.
Wasn't that much however, EQ2 do deserve a bigger preview.
I suppose its what happens when you lanch within days of the biggest expansion of the year i guess.

But then again. Maybe SOE forgot to market their own expansion even in the US now?
Cheers

EQ2 would have deserved better.
