What's your favorite MMOG with no monthly fees?

Just as the title states, I'm curious as to which no monthly fee/free MMOGs everyone enjoys playing.

    Guildwars.

    Runes magic gets second place.

There is no 3rd place, everything else I tried without monthly costs suck.

    Guild Wars

Honestly, no other "Free to Play" and many "pay to play" games can compare to it.

Its got sweet realistic graphics and over 6.6 billion players with no lag

Putting on my serious hat: Guild Wars

Sick of playing Entropia Universe? Want to quit, but don't want your hard earned money to vanish? Give your items to ME :-)

I don't know about every 4th post, but sure it's been done several times before, just think of this thread as the refresher for the new people and those that have changed their favorite(s) recently. :D

Still haven't played Guild Wars though, but now I feel like I should try it out.

Come on, we're on MMORPG.com right?  "massive timesink" is kind of a given... ;)

I actually also vote for Guildwars, although to be technically true to the question LOTRO is nice also (if you buy a lifetime subscription, it has no monthly...)

How dare you present him with logic! Don't you understand? He fights epic fights, in epic games, with epic toons....eats epic food and takes epic dumps! He has more e..pic..icity...ness in his little finger than you have in your whole unepic body! - ChicagoCub

FlyFF, recently. It's a standard K-MMO grindfest, but I like it.

What a piece of shit game. Every week is a cash shop update. Every patch is just another update to force users to buy their gpot items. They keep lowering success rates for upgrades with every patch. I haven't seen any other game with so many cash shop whores. There was an in-game quest at one time, to go to target and buy their gpot card. Freaking ridiculous!

    Agree.

Guild Wars did have the deepest Arena PvP, not sure how things are now.

Anarchy Online far and away has the deepest itemisation system, best PvE I've come across if you're into that.
