Looking for a new MMO... advice wanted!

Well, I *was* looking forward to Ryzom, but that game has totally crapped out on me... so buggy.... servers terrible.... and for whatever unholy reason, the devs took out the 800 by 600 resolution, so I'd have to run at a crap-tacular framerate from now on..... and all of this from a game that releases in just over 10 days.....

Sooooooo, looking for something to fill it's slot. I am curretnly playing CoH, Anarchy, and casually playing Ragnarok.  Usually I generally play 4 or 5 of these at a time, so that's why Im asking (please dont ask me how/why I do that).  Also, waiting for EQ2, and Matrix Online.

As for what specifically Im looking for.... first of all.... any MMO with a combat system that ISNT auto-attack is a HUGE draw to me..... dont get me wrong, auto-attack doesnt HURT a game any.... but something that ISNT that makes it even better.

Second, I do like to be able to solo.  I will group fairly often, but I like to solo alot.... so something where soloing is possible.

Third, NOT something revolving around PVP.  Never really got into PVP in MMOs.....

Fourth.... if a game does crafting that is both useful/NOT BORING, that's another draw.  The IDEA of crafting is good, but some games make it SO HORRIDLY BORING. You know, click craft 6000 times making "boiled rat tails" so you can level your chef skill by .00000001 and make "boiled rat tails with cheese".  That's something I DONT like..... Anarchy has good crafting..... instead of taking freaking forever doing it, you allocate skill points into it, and THAT determines what you can do/make.  Thats something I like in MMOs.

Ok, there..... unlike others who come here, and ask a similar question, and get yelled at for not specifying what they like, I just did :)

Also, just if it helps... other games I've played in the past include: AC2, EQ, EVE (might go back to that one....), E&B (I SOOOOOOO hate EA for cancelling it...), Horizons (terrible), FFXI (terrible AND boring), Shadowbane (buggy), and Lineage 2's beta (total chaos....).

Im asking this, as there is a whole, looooooong list of current MMOs out there.... so Im looking for opinions from the people who play them.  Come on.... get me interested in something :)

Current games, please.  I've already decided what I will buy of FUTURE games.

    Check out Wish man. It has everything your talking about should be a good quality game.

    Looking forward to that.... but annoyed that the beta got pushed to December image

    I've been playing MMOs since 97' and have played just about everything.  I just logged off the beta stress test for WoW and the game has left me very impressed.  It is the highest quality game I've ever played.......In terms of performance, graphics, depth. 

    Open beta for this game will be announced sometime in the near future.  Perhaps check it out.
