    NDAs

    * MMORPG.com does not permit users to post information on games still under an NDA. For more information about your specific game's NDA, please visit their official website.

The problem here is that they cannot reply due to the NDA. I'm sure alot of people would like to hear some answers to these questions aswell, but it looks like we'll just have to wait

Hopefully not too long now anyways!

    1.  How do you acquire skills in-game?  From trainer-type NPCs? Through first usage; i.e. swinging a specific weapon type for the first time?
    2.  Do you have access to see all the skills available so far?  If so, about how many are there?
    3.  What are some cool and/or new skill thats surprised you?
Looking forward to some real answers :)

Testers are under strict NDA so can not answer any questions which makes this thread wasted at this time. Once the NDA is lifted this will change, until then though....

All good points, of which I was aware of, which leads me to my next question:  Why are said posters allowed to say they are in beta and give vague statements about their beta experiences?

They aren't. They are violating the NDA and MMORPG.com's policies.  Enforcement varies and usually relies on someone using the Report function over on the right.

Indeed.  I'll make sure to do that again.  Maybe they missed the first one.  Please close this thread mods.
