he didn't have to be there or be a freaking clairvoyent to know that what gfiz was talking about was not possible. Those of us that have the CE box and those who have seen it know that the mini was in an individually wrapped blister package inside a recessed compartment in the center of a rather large reinforced display box. Any damage to the mini would have had to of been delibrately done by the shipper or whoever. The "Damage" and "Broken Arm" is probably the claw bit on the right arm that was cast as a seperate part so it would fit in the mold. Any one who has put together a Games workshop model (or any model for that matter) would know they come in parts and need to be assembled. Most GW metal models are 3 or 4 parts and the plastic ones are 10 to 15 parts. If you think your Mini is "Broken" take a picture of it and post it (pic or it didn't happen). Then if it is actually broken I, or another skilled modeler, will walk you through repairing it or you can call Games Workshop ( the maker of the model) they are really good about compinsating people for damaged figure kits. How it came in it's case, which was inside the CE Box. It doesn't look like it would glue on, considering it looks chipped on the broken area.
Do you guys even read the posts in this thread? This miniature IS NOT BROKEN. You have to use glue to put it together. Its not chipped. You have to use a special type of glue that is for metals only ( i think it corrodes plastic iirc). I have put together more complicated minis that this, trust me mate. Your model is FINE. The reason the axe wasnt attached to the mini straight away is because its easier to be produced and takes less space in the tiny box that comes with it. My suggestion is that you go to a GW store and ask them for help if you want to assemble/paint it. (Then sell it for $$$).

I think it's you that needs to read it again. Did he ever say how it was broken? Not really. The guy with the CE box merely stated that he opened it found figurine broken. Followed by post from at least 3 people saying "BS" and "not possible". Doesn't matter if it was broken before being boxed or even by the shipper. Fact of the matter is the guy found his figurine broken. What part of that don't you understand?

wow 10 dollars good deal. i have not had a problem with customer service or anything so i have nothing to complain about. especially how well they are doing with coming out with patches. i bought the normal edition since i think special editions are a waste of money anyways
Worst commercial launch ever if you need to empty the stocks like this.
Tabula Rasa at 1 dollar after 14 months. While War makes it to 10 dollars after 2 months.
The first already died. Xfire shows now the game has about 4400 Xfire players (on weekends !). At it highest point (800K accounts) it had 16000 XFire players. It has now 23 less western players than Wow.
Both counts give now around 220K active players. With 20 % less, EA will shut down the servers. No doubting this: EA had 300 million dollars loss in its first fiscal quarter: their shareholders want cutting actions with the economy driving everything to the ground... Guess 3 times what will happen.
Why do you think amazon.com clear out a new game now at 10 dollars?

So they sell an expensive collectors edition which contains a doll, and they expect gamers (not warhammer doll collectors) to know they should glue it, and to buy a SPECIAL type of glue to fricking glue the thing together??

The nerve of them, expecting that the people who buy the collector's edition of the game to either have some knowledge of how the actual game works or maybe some common sense...how dare they!!!
Honestly, if you get that thing and you think "ahh man they sent me a broken model" then you should stay as far away from glue as possible, as any more inhalation of it could further damage something that is already clearly broken.
Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

What the hell has a model to do with the actual game? I expect it to be normal to Warhammer fetish guys to glue a doll together but not for the average Warhammer gamer who probably never saw a Warhammer doll before.
And what has common sense to due with the fact you have to buy SPECIAL glue? Which is probably common knowledge to Warhammer dweebs but not to the average guy who would buy the CE.
Honestly, if you get that thing and you think "ahh man they sent me a broken model" then you should stay as far away from glue as possible, as any more inhalation of it could further damage something that is already clearly broken.
I still /facepalm myself for spending $80 on the collector's edition. Worst collector's edition I ever bought. The miniature figurine was broken. The artbook's images were all posted online months/years before the book. The dinstinictive faces for each race looked horrible for EVERY race expect the elves and greenskins (dwarfs were....mmmmkay). Finally, and something MJ neglected to mention until a few days before beta: ANYBODY who preordered war, that is the collector's edition edition (extra $30) or standard edition would be getting into open beta. I wont lie, I, and many others that ordered the collectors edition, did it for the open beta access. Being told right before the beta started that anybody who preordered the standard edition game would also receive open beta was a slap to the face. MJ response to us: If you feel cheated out of your money, then go ahead a cancel your collector's edition and predorder the standard edition. VERY ENCOURAGING WORDS. GG ASS Of course the people that ordered the standard edition and thought they would be getting into open beta had their own issues to sort out. Mythic failed to mention that only the people with the right system spec would be allowed in. Anyways, it was my first experience with mythic. It was bad. At this point, I believe mythic is subpar. I never played DaoC, I cannot comment on that. But, my experience was bad with warhammer, and so was many others. I wont even mention GOA Europe's playerbase.
The perfect example of lying. I also have CE and its the best 80 bucks i ever spent. And FYI miniature is not broken lol. Some people have no clue.

Your post is a contradiction of itself. Highlighted it to make it easier to point out. Like I said, if you weren't there. YOU have no way of know what condition it was in. First you say it's not possible for it to be broken. Then you turn around in next paragraph and say if it is broken. So which is it? If it wasn't possible for it to be broken. The blue text wouldn't even be necessary.
