Nice polls. Actually made us think hard before making choices. Every cahpter has its strengths and weaknesses (weakest being Factions!). But mostly Prophecies took all the + votes. * I felt sad at the the desolation of Ascalon... * When the King exiled a certain-someone (don't wish to spoil it for newcomers), I actually wanted to stand by the King's side and protect Ascalon instead.... * I was shocked when a certain-someone died (don't wish to spoil it for newcomers)... * I felt the harsh glare of the sun across the destruction the charr caused... as I explored... the heat from the burning pyres with dark smoke billowing towards the skies.... the atmosphere + music + casual urgency = amazing.
I agree that Prophecies had the best emotional impact for storyline
- but the story lost its focus once you reached Lion's Arch
Picking the best was hard, except on storyline, where Prophecies is so far superior to the others. Picking the worst was easy: Eye of the North is far worse than any of the campaigns on just about everything, with perhaps the exception of soundtrack, where the only one that stands out is Crystal Desert (in Prophecies) being very good. Well, I guess the quests in Eye of the North aren't bad; there just aren't very many of them.
Nightfall gave me the best experience. Getting heros to train up and outfit was awesome.
I've never managed to get very far in Factions, although I'm sure it would be possible if I put the work in. At first, I created a Ranger within Cantha, but I got stuck trying to cross the wilderness at level 15 and there didn't seem to be other humans about. I decided to explore Cantha with a Nightfall character instead.
So my Nightfall Ranger sailed as far as Kaifeng and has made his way to Dragon's Throat, but I can't handle DT on my own and on the occassions I've found a team, they wiped a few times and gave up.
So...Factions has been my worst experience, but that may well have more to do with my lame playing and my timing than with the campaign itself.
I would say Factions probably has the most difficult missions of all the campaigns. Also to the post above, Dragon Throat is a challenge mission, you can skip it to proceed along the campaign.

Prophecies by far the best game experience.
Factions by far the best looking. Although the Shiverpeaks in Prophecies is my favorite area.
Now if only Arenanet would stop being so hush hush on GW2 I would be excited about Guild Wars again.

I liked Nightfall as well.

Couldnt chose at some questions, so went for nostalgia and chose prophecies. But I think Nightfall and EotN are very good too.
