hi, I am looking for a new mmo to play below are details of games iv played and the features iv found good to help you give me a good suggestion

Runescape - Played for a year hardcore, another year on off, really enjoyed the player driven economy and the sandbox feel, being able to master all skills rather then just one, i however disliked the increaseing fall in the mature community and the community in general is now not the same

Guild wars - great game but got old fast due to very easy max lvl

Diablo 2 (if you count it) - played this for a long long time, great community and easy to always find a fun game, whether it be the equivlent of proper mmo's instances or just a quick pvp battle

WoW - Iv tried this game many a time, from release, TBC expansion, totalling maybe 6-7 differnt tries at the game, i simply do not like this game, whether its the fact that it feels like a bad D2 port, or its ridiculously bad community to anyone whos not 'uber l33t', i just can't get away with the game, really boring grind, quests all the same, no fun grouping at lower lvls (yes i tried it at higher lvls only to find most people eliteist and the banter to be as good as 'omg u all suck i said do this'), tradeskills seemed to mean nothing and were easily bought. i could go on for days about other features i just couldnt learn to love, however the moddable UI was a treat

Age of Conan - Played for 2 months before they somehow completly broke the game, went away for the weekend, came back enw patch made the games FPS lower by about 20 and the game was unplayable, such a dissappointment, enjoyed the PVP as it had a slightly more skill orientated aspect than most games these days, also enjoyed the community and the comabt system, bashing  1 2 3 is far better then right click afk imo

FFXI - Played this for 2 1/2 years on off on xbox 360 since the beta, love the game, loved the maps, music, story, community, crafting, economy, skill in battles, fact i could simply go switch jobs to play a new charcter while not actually having to make a new charcter, the only flaw i found with this game was the potentioal 7 day wait for a standard exp party =/ and incase you asked i played paladin so i was in higher demand then the average class

EVE online - tried this one seemed good but not my sort of game

so from all that im basically looking for a game with a good combat system (not just click afk)

good crafting system and economy - able to make money from crafting if i wish

good gameplay from the off - dont want a WoW style max lvl or bust

PVP or PVE - both are good,  i enjoy more diffcult pve battles rather then just click and watch, even if its as simple as putting loadsa mobs in to cause diffculites or a conan style skills taht dont always work thing. Instances im a big fan of and were about the only thing i found entertaining in wow. I also enjoyed AoC pvp anywhere system however only if its fair (with a bit of skill on conan u could avoid being ganked).

Friendly community - i know all games have elitests but id prefer a game with a friendly community thats not either all kids or all morons with too kmuch time to get 'uber' gear

Easy to find parties - if its a game that needs me to have a party all the time like FFXI i shouldnt have to wait around for days even while playing a high demand charcter

graphics - any and all, gameplay is the issue here not the graphics

grind - preferabbly not an over easy guild wars grind but at same time not a boring grind, diffucult grinds such as FFXI is okay, i dont mind spending a long time grinding up my lvls however it should be fun, with either decent quests to keep me entertained or decent comabt, i dont want just hideous kill x quests or just endless right click afk, or WoW's brilliant combo of both those

i apologise for spelling and grammar in this post lol, and cheers for any games suggested =]

Check out Atlantica Online (F2P), Dungeons & Dragons Online (P2P), and Wizard101 (P2P after level 8). They all have different combat styles which make them more interesting and challenging than the mind numbing auto-attack MMOs. AO has the most crafting options while Wizard101 doesn't have any crafting. I can't comment much on D&D Online since I haven't played it in a very long time, but the last I remember it had instances similar to Guild Wars. They all offer pvp in the way of arenas and have good enough communities. I'd say it's easy enough to find a group in all of them and they all offer different types of quests other than "kill 50 of mob_01".
