I needed that Tasos interview!

For a while there I was starting to lose hope, and slowly began to believe the anti-hype that the game would never release. I really needed that Talos interview, it confirmed there IS an actual game and that a release is forthcoming. Hell, ive been waiting years for swgemu to come to fruition, i can wait a few months for darkfall!

I never expected it would be out before christmas, but whatever, we can wait until jan 22 if needs be. I work in project management and deadlines are changed all the time because it's impossible to control all the external factors. Sometimes things work out just the way you planned, but most times there's a hold up in the assembly line - something you don't expect - and it throws everything out of whack.

So, thank you tasos, efharisto poli!

PS. if you need a beta tester from australia...test pings, playability etc, please look me up! (kTam on the darkfall forums)

facts speak for themselves - the videos and screenshots out there can't lie like forum posters can. the past 48 hours i've come back to this forum, the stuff i read here in the DF forum some of it is so ridiculously paranoid and baseless, i'm sure some of the more active troll posters are MMO competitor shills. eg: people talking about Darkfall being like Dark'n'Light when AoC has been IMO a bigger and more recent scam.

i don't think theres anyone here that doesn't want a great game release. why would we be here if we didn't.

and you won't find me bashing this game, or many other(until i've played them anyway).. but dark and light DID have the prettiest screenshots you've ever seen back in the day, and hundreds of them too.

There was a video of Dark and Light, where this guy walks up a mountain, and then takes off his shield, and rides it like a snowboard down the other side of the mountain. At the time I thought it was one of the coolest features I'd ever seen in an MMORPG. What a sense of exploration, and adventure, with these sorts of travel options.

But then it turned out to be just a turd.

But you're right, of course we all hope that Darkfall will have a good release. Even if it's not the best thing since sliced bread, if it can get a sub rate like SWG pre-NGE that would be good.

Yep people tend to forget that this is a business and that things happen.  As long as the product is quality then it doesnt matter if it is delayed.  Especialyl when that delay does not cost the consumer and money or problems.
