Neocron 2 open beta!

Here is a link to the Neocron 2 open beta torrent. Its 1.6 gigs so dont expect to get it that fast. You can sign up for the beta on monday the 6th.

    If their at open beta now, they sure as hell aint trying hard enough.  It's not mentioned anywhere on their main pages. I found it after sifting through their forums.

    The Neocron 2 Trial Client is not yet available. Please check again at the end of September 2004. Meanwhile you can try the free Neocron 1 Trial Client.

    Then I realized that the download times range anywhere between 3 and 20 kbps.  That's pretty bad if it is indeed an open beta.

    I don't know...I've seen companies make their open betas a tad bit more accessible than that.

    BTW, the flash soundeffects from their home page http://entry.neocron.com/doy/index.html was stolen from one of EVE's Ammarrian's Station sound effects.  Trust me....my wife often has her game minimized for several hours a day for the past 13 months....i know each little bit of sound in that effect...and that's taken right from EVE)

    Any EVE players....go and dock in a Minmatar space station...listen to the background sound effects then check out Neocron's Website.  You'll see exactly what I mean image
