I am lost... account issues

Ok i am completely lost... i downloaded the client, i registered on acclaim site (i am playing from the UK, but link to register account transfers you to acclaim)... what next? How do i play the game? When i enter the game and enter password and username it says username/password wrong?
Do i have to register on some other site maybe?
Can anyone pont out what i am doing wrong?

The game has not released in the UK yet and Acclaim is the publisher for the UK.
There is lots of info on these forums but basically they have split up the EU and the UK(along with quite a few other European countries)will play on with the US,release is planned for January.
The game has only released for some parts of the EU,11 countries in all and the UK isnt 1 of them.
If someone had came up to me in 1980 when I was on my Atari 2600 and said we will be playing games with thousands of people at the same time.I guess my response would have been,"but I only have 2 joysticks"
