They went for Monk first, rumours they are working on Druids for late next year as they want to get the shapeshifting right. Personally I wouldn't be surprised if it was 2010 before we see them.
2: what is the maximum numbe rof players can quest together?
6 for normal quests, 12 for raids.
3: what is the maximum number of players can PVP together?
Tavern brawls whomever is there, for the arena style ones I am not sure but I would guess it follows the 6 rule.
4: no lv restriction to pvp? lv1 can pvp right away?
No restriction, but DDO PvP is tacked on, it is really a PvE centric MMO.
5: is pvp have level range system? like lv 1-10 ad 50-70 something like that?
6: if we land a crit does it have unique sound?
If you score a hit the damage numbers get bigger and the mob sort of shudders. If you get hit with a crit I think there is a sort of umph noise, but been a while since I had a char that wasnt 100% fortified.

There is a star in the panel (top left) which has a list of quests you can do and where to get them, also talk to anyone with a quest symbol above their head. Also bring up the LFM panel and join groups of your level range.

If you like to explore look on the map for explorer area exits.
DDO is all about grouping and doing quests, just make people aware it is your first time in a quest so they don't do it too fast.

They are having difficulty coding the shapeshifting aspect of the druid and companions. Last suggested time of arrival is Mod 10. Mod 9 is level cap to 20 and two new races: half orc and half elf.
2: what is the maximum numbe rof players can quest together?
    6 for a quest, 12 for a raid
3: what is the maximum number of players can PVP together?
You can just jump in the brawling area and go at it with unlimited players. You can also team up in some taverns and play group versus group. I belive the max on group is 6 for capture the flag.
4: no lv restriction to pvp? lv1 can pvp right away?
    PVP is to all levels
5: is pvp have level range system? like lv 1-10 ad 50-70 something like that?
No. This is a public area inside some of the taverns. There are no restrictions to levels or number of people.
6: if we land a crit does it have unique sound?
It's hard to hear because I keep the game sound on low, but the toon being critted will make a grunt sound of pain unless of course you kill them with the shot.  Because this is live combat, above the mobs head you will a number string across the head of your target. A normal string will appear like this 15+8+5+14 but a crit shot will look like this 53+10+8+14. These are just example, but you get the idea. On your screen, you will also see your dice rolls and in a chat screen window, you can see the damage and crits typed out. The combat log (chat screen) can be scanned through as well so you can see where to best damage come from.

The new player area, Korthos, starts with you shipwrecked on a beach. There is a halfling rogue standing there and he will lead you to your first quest (solo). When you complete it, you will step out into Korthos Village. Hit your "m" button and you will see golden chalices. Those are quests open for you to run solo or in party. On the map, you can double click on the chalice, hit "m" key again. The orb will now show an arrow guiding you to the area you marked. Talk to the person it leads you to and the chalice changes to a blue chalice with an arrow through. This means you have the quest. Click the "m" key again and the door to the quest is now green. Double click on the green door and hit "m" again. Let the map orb guide you to the quest. Also, many of your quest givers will guide you to the next stage of Korthos by telling you to talk to so and so. There are a total of 9 quests and 1 exploring area on Korthos Island. Have fun!

Few questions are there any projected release dates for Mod 9 and 10?

I read somewhere that DDO might be adding hirelings any further info on this?

So after Korthos does one wind up at the inn? Can one do both the old stater area and the new starter areas? More content is always good. Think DDO would have done better if they would have had more content and some outdoor content at release. rerunning the same adventure is not very D&D'ish. Never had a GM say ok we're gonna replay that adventure, or have a player ask to replay a adventure they'd already been through

The hirelings are done but there are a few bugs they need to work out on their AI. We have already tested them on Risia and on the live Servers. So they will be going live very soon.

The older area you are speaking about is under construction, we have no idea what they are doing there. As for Korthos, once you complete the quests on the island, you can then sail to Stormreach Harbor. The Captain won't sail with that pesky dragon flying around.

The next mod will include a level increase to 20 and the higher end content is going to the plane of Shavarath. This is currently slated to happen around Feb/Mar. After that, Turbine has already stated we are going to epic levels.

There's no real PvP in DDO.  It's just a Tavern area which allows players to damage each other.  There's no risk, no reward and tends to be a very poor experiance.  The Death Matches and Capture the Flag scenario's can be a lot of fun although you really need to set some ground rules to make it more fun.  Other then player preferences there are no limits or restrictions to tavern brawls other then some spells are not able to be casted.   (If I want PvP I play EVE Online)

Criticals could use some emphasis.  There's currently no "Bang" or "Bam" sound effect and you usually just larger numbers.

How to play?  It starts with using the W A S and D keys to move around...click on thngs to interact with them...etc...there's pop up messages ingame that explain all the required functions I would advise to read them.

    Really?

When I used to play AD&D we would frequently replay scenarios.  Most of the time it was to let someone else DM through it, but there were some quests that got frequent attention.  Sometimes we would use a module as a campaign setting for a month or more.

A couple which had campaigns built around them that I can think of are, not limited to:

S1 Tomb of Horrors and S2 White Plume Mountain.  U1 Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh, U2 Danger at Dunwater and U3 The Final Enemy.  Everybody's favorites G1-3 Agasint the Giants and Q1 Queen of the Demon Web Pits.

Those quests were played many times and even though I've kept good care of my modules the wear they've sustained can tell an entirely unique story by its self.  ;)

Likewise Mindspat.  I have often reused maps, to improve on them, mostly.  Redoing quests in DDO not only nets you some useful stuff (Like Tangleroot and STK) it also (if you move the difficulty up) nets you xp and and favour.  Favour isn't that important atthe beginning of the game, but later on it becomes important.

Yes, I am a gamer girl.
