How do you prevent constant spam?

in Atlantica Online

I tried this game a few weeks ago and couldn't stop the gold spammers from filling my chat interface constantly.  /ignore didn't work and I found no interface option to make the annoying chime stop.  I'd love to know how to do this.

    Community -> Block list, and then type tha name of those annoying spammers

    Dont worry guys as you can see, spammers are now lessen compare to the previous months, because nddors are doing their best to prevent these gold sellers to spam in our mails...

    if you get a whisper message you can use the action menu in the whisper window to block them as well.  Or type /t name and it will bring up the whisper window.

            I get like 1-2 gold seller whispers a day and maybe 1-2 in the mailbox......I would hardly call that constantly......If yo uwant to see constantly go play LoTRO and sit in Bree.....You'll see more gold selling spam in 15 minutes that you would in a month in AO.......

    yeah those gold spammers are pain in the ass.. hope they would be blocked permanently but i guess they will just make another account to spam people.. can we communicate with GMs or DEVs about this spamming? just to help on the game, do they have accounts in the game that we can whisper to if we see some gold spammers?

    Thanks for illuminating these options.

    This was the reason I stopped playing after the first few minutes.  It was constant on the day I tried it - like about every few seconds.

    other than blocking them in-game, once you've seen a gold spammer, just press your print screen button and then create a ticket at playatlantica.com's support and these spammers will all be reported to the GM's. the GM will soon implement any necessary actions with regards the gold spammers. i think. peace!

            I posted earlier that I never had problems with gold sellers.....Well I was showing a friend the game a couple days ago and decided to create a character on Macedon......This was the only server I ahdnt tried so I decided to try it out also......In my first 15 minutes I probably received over 50 gold spam msgs from 2 bots that just kept spamming it over and over and over........This was teh only server that I ever had problems with gold sellers and their spam.....The otehr 4 servers had very little if any and most of that was going to inbox not tells........
