Yippee!!!!!! As a mainly solo player, this is going to really open up the game to a whole new level for me!

I see we are finally getting Mod 8, but I assumed it would be with Hirelings turned off like the US.
The hirelings are in, just bought one from the vendor near the auction house in the harbour!!! We got Mod 8 and patches 8.1 and 8.2!!!!!!! U.S. get hirelings tomorrow, woot, EU first for a change!!!!!

Promote what you love instead of bashing what you hate.
New area, high and low, are brill. New graphs are great, charecter creation good, new highend stuff is fun. Hirelings ,although i havent played with them much, they seem pretty good from what i've seen.

Really enjoying the hirelings so far. Took my level 3 Sorcerer thru the Waterworks tonight with a level 3 cleric hireling, great fun!! Have used Summon monster quite a bit during my time in DDO, so found the hirelings quite easy to control. Am sure the sound has been upgraded too as the Waterworks sound effects sounded sharper and dungeons had a distinct echo.
All in all, a great mod so far, like the new harbour and starter island too.
