is if any object were to reach a state of complete rest a point of 0 (no speed, and no forces around it) that object would expand and contract, to the point of infinite uncertainty. Until another power comes to act upon it, setting it back into motion into the known universe or into another state of time of a different one. quantum physics. or prayer?

I'd report this thread if I only knew what the hell it was about.

Uncertainty principle. Nothing could ever stop completely by itself, thus it would need an outside force acting on it. This force would need to be exact enough to perfectly counteract the momentum the object currently has, due to the uncertainty principle it is impossible to measure at that level of accuracy. See, I answered your question by pointing out that you are postulating an impossibility.

I would not want to hold that object in my hand.

Are you the OP as well? You both sound just as crazy and registered the same time, with 1 post.....

This principle is based on inductive reasoning and can therefore not be justified. It can only instead be seen an inference to the best hypothesis.

Wait, are you talking about Darkfall here? With that object you actually mean Darkfall, right?

Nope, the OP has 2 stars, even though I'm not sure what stars mean. I have a masters degree in electrical engineering specialized in solid state electronics and semiconductor devices, quantum level analysis is right there in the middle of it.

Only reason I answered is that I hate questions like that, things along the lines of "What would win, an immovable object or an unstoppable force." It's a ridiculous question.

I vote this to be the best DFO thread of the year.

It summarizes the rest of the threads in one. Mods you can go ahead and delete the rest of the threads.

    Witch will win?

    An immovable object                        Darkfall fans

    or                                                          or

    An unstoppable force                       Darkfall naysayers

I have nothing clever to say.

but thats the whole thing.. maybe the only way for an object to reach the point of complete rest, is within itself.. a living being.. darkfall will come and go, and remain forever as a thing of the present towards the past.

an idea is the only object able to reach a point of complete rests... it is why the universe is actually being able to keep going, because the idea, the word, is pushing it and twisting, turning it, rolling it, forcing it, pulling it, folding it, counter acting any balance to chaos, only for the next idea to hold it all back in place.  for the good or the bad...that is why we are called cocreators.. created in the image of God. do the good.

we are the people now. we are the only ones, who will decide whether this game is going to fall or rise..we must supply it with good ideas, and let them breathe the air we circulate, and change our world for the better, we can hate, discriminate, and ignore till their ain't no more. but we must come together as one eventually, till the time comes when we will be separated by the good or the bad.

so bring it on, and let this game breathe life, as we have hope and faith in it, and not rely on ourselves but help one another in accomplishing this single most simple task we expect to hold within many rewards and great usage of time space.
