DF and The Neverending Dogma of Trolls and Fanboys...
Okay, I've seen a number of hater/fanboy/kumbaya/rant threads springing up here. Ironically, this thread might end up fitting into one of those categories.
I typically lurk these forums quite frequently, but I'll bite here...
This whole troll v fanboy nonsense is just a byproduct of obsessive mmo fandom. Honestly, does ANYONE remember what the Vanguard forums were like prior to that launch? It was full of posts exactly like the ones we are observing now!
Now I am by no means comparing the DF 'game' to Vanguard here. I am simply trying to point out here that every highly anticipated game has its myopic fanboys and haters! While unfortunate, I feel the increase in the number of 'lame' threads is almost a natural part of an MMO release, especially a highly anticipated title such as this... At this point it's a harsh truth I myself have grown to accept; people are passoiate, people are tools, people are morons, people are human...
Good lord can I get an amen?!!

Most people that follow Darkfall just laugh at everyone else that goes out of their way to bash it. Not everyone is that thiick skinned or level headed. The years and years and years of unfounded pointless vaporware claims, and scam claims, and trolling, flaming, for no reason other than people are bored, and jerks, has transformed some people into rabid fanboys. It is a by product of the trolls flaming the game for years. I don't blame anyone if they want to take their sweet sweet revenge.
