Okay me and 3 of my best friends need a new game, we have been playing wow for quite some time now, but its just not right any more, after the new expansion we really found out that the time we spend playing was far from equal so when we actually were online at the same time we couldn’t really play with each other... furthermore the people with more time now join raids and when the rest shows up we wont be playing together either...
We used to play fps ww2 games together by settled down on wow, its important for us that though we don’t spent an equal amount of time in the game we can play together, but there need to be something entertaining for the people online waiting for the rest to do..
it is a bit of a complex situation we got but guess we have figured out that levels should not be a big part of our next game (something like guild wars were the 1-20 is very easy ) or were lvls are not existing at all.. We like both pvp and pve...
gerne: not any specific i have my selv played games like d&d, planetside, guildwars and meny more so the genre is not that importaint, but we are looking for a game with decent grafics.
p2p or f2p doessent matter

Well, since you said no levels I can't recommend LOTRO, dang. Actually, I still will actually being that higher levels actually can still have a little challenge doing low level quests.
May I also recommend the Saga of Ryzom, which has no levels, instead a skill based system.
There's Dungeons and Dragons Online, while it has levels all the dungeons (there's only dungeons and 'explorer' areas, all instanced and not a ton of exploration) have different settings for how hard it can be. The dungeons are very vast and complicated with traps, dynamic bosses and well, they're huge. I got lost in one for nearly an hour once... and it was one of the low level dungeons.
There's plenty of FPS games, and if you would like FPS recommendations, please just say so. I just don't want to list a ton for no reason :P

I agree with the above poster on suggesting Ryzom. Another game that offers a lot to do is Atlantica Online. It does have levels, but while you or one of your friends is offline there is a lot of other stuff to keep you occupied besides just leveling. It's primarily a PvE game, turn based, F2P with a cash shop, you initially control your main chracter & three mercenaries of your class choosing, lots of crafting options, and offers pvp in an arena type setting.
