Can my new laptop play lineage 2?

basically i used to play on my desktop but had dial up so i stopped playing cuz it was unbearable. now i have high speed but im on my new laptop now and was wondering if it was compatible w/ the game. im also posting minimum req's for the game, just for reference for anyone's response : ) thnx

HP compaq 6515b w/ winvista(32 bit)

Processor: AMD turion 64 x2 mobile technology tl-58 at 1.9 Ghz each

Memory: 1 GB RAM

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon X1250

HDD: 80 GB

and i am running directX 10, i think 9 is the version you have to have. something like that?

well that is all the info i see relevant as of now, if anyone has any answers to this problem or you need more info on my system plz feel free to ask and ill find out. from what i can tell i think it will run but might be a little shotty. but i dont really know much about computers so : P

    I was looking at laptops about a month ago and gave up,there was nothing much worth buying[actually nothing at all lol].The future is now looking better,exoect within next few months some great new laptops.

    No matter i actually have the required TI4600 vid card on an older machine [very old] and yes it can play the game.You have one of the normal ATI cards i see in most of the laptops,a little better than integrated but not by much.Even still it should be a fair bit above tha tvery old TI4600 and your processor albeit not great either is good enough to play the game.

    That is the unreal 1 engine ,dates back to like 1999.To answer your question,YES you will be able to play it,i did on a system that was pretty close to the minimum req.I have a vista dx 10 machine now and still turn on the original ut99,so you should have no problems there either.

    What you probably might have to do,is set the whole game folder,maybe the .exe also to full administration rights.IDK maybe the 32 bit version is not as bad. i dont have the 32 bit version to really know.You may be in scott free,with no troubles at all from vista.Either way,you will be enjoying Lineage 2 and all it's BOTS lol.

    i was just reading a thread that was talkin about all of the bots that are on the servers now. i remember playing some 5 or so years ago and to this day from what i remember of it it was the greatest mmorpg ive ever played. i had alot of higher lvl friends that helped me lvl up and get myself up and running. that old desktop i used was bare minimum too so i think im just used to the "low" lvl setup lol. i can see that whole admin thing that vista likes to do being a possible problem. usually it only decides to reveal itself for certain programs that i try to open, but we will see. i hopefully get my disk later this week and i will be able to see how this computer does. im still worried about the choppiness of the game, since i have the internet upgrade hopefully there at least wont be any of the lag that kills you while your grinding out in caves : S
