I just saw Aeria has planned some event on dec, 21st. If you connect to the game between 17h30 and 19h, you get 300 free AP to use however you want!
The only thing tricky is you have to connect to and create a character on the German version. Your normal Aeria account is enough to log into the character creation thing though.
To get the German version, go here . You should probably use megaupload, since it'll switch to English configuration when you view it (whereas the others seem to be in German only). Oh, and use a separate folder than your usual Shaiya US (add "de" or "ger" to the forlder name). I'm not 100% sure it's necessary to avoid conflicts between the versions... but better safe than sorry.
Hope this helps some... the announcement has only been made in German I think, not in English (I didn't see anything on the Aeria forums at least).
