First thing when I logged in I looked at the item mall, and what was the first thing I saw? +50% Exp Potions!!! I don't want some asshole with too much money to be able to buy these things every 3 ****ing hours.. Well, crap, I was waiting for this game... I wish I had done my research.
If only there were a way to tell if someone had used one of these potions, then I could make an douche free guild, who actually earned what they got.
Why can't they leave EXP out of it!! ****ing ridiculous, man.

But this is right
the IM should be a shortcut for PVE,or do you prefer items that unbalance the PVP(like PW) or a premium system?
Frogster need make money ,if you can't live with the fact wich somebody who have money can get 50/50 in 2 months and you in 3 so stop playing.
be happy if the fact wich a noob with a credit card can't pwnt your head off in PVP
Well then I guess that EQ and EQ2 won't be on your Xmas present list then.........................
Hmm my players expierence is that you gain most of the EXP with quests and as far as I know that item don't work with quest exp..
Why would you expect different from a f2p title? All item malls eventually get xp boosters. If the game had a bigger budget it would be p2p, from what little I played it seemed like a good game for someone looking for something like WoW but with more complexity and substance.
Well, Froggster do need to get money off course but yes, XP pots are not a great idea.
It was discussed on the beta forum before and then it seemed like they was out. Maybe they changed their mind when SOE throw them in just bfore ROM launched or maybe some suit talked them into it.
Still, the item mall could have been a lot worse.
I don't mind that at all, because I don't care how fast I level or anyone else for that matter. Or if the item shops that sell gear that has the same stats but looks different Im cool with that.
Now when it comes to Item shops that give out better gear or potions for healing or mana thats just stupid. Item shops should never give a player that kind of an advantage, it just makes the whole game screwed. Why should someone that has spent more money be stronger that anyone else? To me thats just gay.
I was worried that I wouldn't be able to fit this game into my schedule what with WoW taking precedence. Now that I know they'll be selling items like +EXP potions this dilemma is now solved.
Sorry RoM, CB was fun, but advantage item malls are fail.
You level up fairly fast anyways, who needs exp potions...I'm tired of people not giving games chances just because of an Item Mall. Yes, Item Malls give players that spend money an edge, but at least in this game it isn't that great of an edge. 50% exp might sound like alot, but as someone said before, the majority of your expirience comes from your quests, and exp potions don't effect the exp from quests.
I can't wait for them to start selling items for your house in the Item Mall, that's what I want to buy...here goes my $500 a year Maplestory accessory addiction again
I have a number you can call for help.
I dont get why to some ppl main reason for game quality of some f2p game, is whether it have xp pot. or not. Ive played a lot of them and havent saw any without it. For me, its most important for f2p game not to be a grindfest. Im always for questing over grinding, and this game have a lot of quests for f2p so far.
But ive never reached above level 30 so far, so will it be pure grind on higher levels, remains to be seen
Main MMO at the moment: Guild Wars 2
Waiting for: Pathfinder Online

I'm not an addict! ......
So what is the difference between Power Levelling a toon and buying an eperience pot?
They both end in the same place with a toon at the max level faster than if a person played through the game at a "normal" pace.
Exp potions are probably the lesser of the two evils when talking about an item mall. No one likes an item mall that gives epic weps or armor. Exp pots might be a way for the item mall to actually make money without actually hurting the balance of the game. Yes, those pots are kind of lazy, but I think it's better than the ultimate shortcut of just buying weps/armors.
The item mall's got to make money or there would be no game, so you might have to pick your battles.
I write things for the Examiner as the MMO Examiner.
Atleast its not like you have to buy them to level at a decent pace.
Currently restarting World of Warcraft
this is just amazing a guy going wtf a item mall on f2p mmo........ just .............. wts common sense this is beyond failure
Seems the OP hasn't played very many F2P games. Every F2P game I've played had XP items in their Item Mall... It's practically a given that'll be one of the items... I personally like Item Malls that have clothing and accessories you can buy for your toon, perferebly perm and tradable.
if you dont like item malls then dont play f2p games at all as i said above this is beyond failure
