i hope they allow you to have multiple starships that you can switch off at the dock. have two cruisers with different configurations or have a cruiser and a scout for fun.

Im very excited for this game. The more info they release the better it seems to get. It reminds me a lot of a game that got me into mmos and excited...
I agree with the topic poster, Star Trek Online should have older designs as well as newer models, to not have the Consitution/Miranda/Excelsior class would be a crime against the series.
Now for ships, i would go for the Nebula-Class:
