My top 3 soul-crushing moments in Eve

You know, the moments that make Eve great - the ones that make you want to throw your computer out the window

1. When I moved back from 0.0, all I had to name was about 5 million ISK, a Mackinaw, and a Mammoth.  I mined ice (the lowest-value commodity in Eve) for damn near 3 straight days to be able to afford a Hulk and a mission-fit Myrmidon.
2. Fitting up an expensive new solo-pvp Ishkur, only to have it destroyed in a well-executed gate camp 2 jumps into its maiden voyage, along with an equally expensive pod.
3. Having my ass handed to me by a canflipper like a noob because I wasn't paying attention and looted a wreck that wasn't mine with my fully pimped out and totally defenseless hauler.

Way back when I had just bought my first ever megathron battleship back before anything tech 2, spent almost all of my isk on fitting and insuring it only to have it blown up roughly 15 minutes later while ratting at one of those old static pirate outposts in lowsec. This was back well before you could see standings in the local channel.

Resubscribed after a long time and only had 300k ISK and an Abbadon in deep 0.0.  Tried to make it back and lost it and got 60mil back.  Worked my money back to get another one and lost it the next day when I accidently used a bomb and hit a fleet members drone in high sec (losing it to CONCORD).

1. Losing 3 Brutix's in one night, due to a Wardec Corp joined an alliance and right after the 24's I was outside a station and got popped. Alliance didnt tell us after I yelled in vent

2. Discovering that my friend pushed the Self-Destruct button while I wasnt looking on my very first battlecruiser

3. Getting blown-up by concord when I tried to Fleet Gank  somebody them only discovering that they fixed that lil Flagging Exploit (one where flags you with anyone in your fleet that has a Wardec going on)

1.Scaring off someone who just popped a hauler rat spawn and popping his cans then he brought his friends ,hunted me for 15 mins to no luck and then waking up the next day with a extra 100mil added bounty to my head .

2.Made a random SS between 2 gates and later that day I warped back to the SS to find a nice mackinaw floating in space at my SS.

3.Blowing up a 60mil+ drake in a t1 fitted thorax ,not only that but blown him up after his friends arrived and he said in local: HAHA take that fker ,u wont kill me... and then watching local as he bad-mouths his friends cause they didnt save his drake from a puny rax.

Although these are 3 Sould Crushing moments, they are crushing others souls

1. My first Capital size killmail- In Vezilla (Low sec Khanid system) My old alliance stumbled on a Freighter full of goodies. The Freighter pulled a "logoffsky". My alliance literally camped the system in shifts for 48 hours. The Freighter called in a fleet to rescue him just at downtime. We drove off his fleet of rescue Battleships and got our Freighter prize. Was quite a team effort.

2. Getting on my first Carrier killmail in Irmalin. Some mercs terrorizing the locals in low sec, had been playing station games with a carrier and 3 command ships. Everytime they got in trouble they would just dock. We fit a fleet with Nano MWD Battleships, and decoyed the enemy to undock. We undocked our nano battleships and bumped that carrier so far people in vent thought it warped away. Because of our bumpercar battleships we popped it.

2. Being part of the Roadkill fleet that killed the Goon Titan. 3 Titans due to a bad descision all DD'd at the same time. We flew in right on time after the DD's killed our decoy fleet. 2 Titans got away. A good team effort also.
