don't be afraid of sending tells to random people you don't know

people are overwhelmingly nice about receiving random lfg tells, even if they can't attend.

most responses follow the lines of "oh! i'd love to but I can't right now..."

if they don't appreciate being randomly hit up for a group, they're not going to join and there's no problem

if people really don't want to be annoyed, they could just turn on /anonymous

    Good luck and happy hunting.

Rember thats TELLS not invites. Nothing pisses me off more than a Invite outa the blue.

also rember to say a lvl range in you LFM... Please for the love of god. i had you basterds trained to do this before the last time i quit now i gata start all over again.(That wasent pointed at you OP)

Over all a good list Op :)

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude; greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

    Thanks for your guide!

I think people like quests as it gives that extra bit of XP when going into a dungeon and the rewards, from group quests are slightly better than single quest rewards.

    Thanks OP,

I just stopped playing WoW again for about the 5th time.  Somehow I got on a server that everyone was new, I did not mind helping people out and played until level 48 but I could not take it anymore.

Anyway I use the same method in WoW, and am surprised how no one knows how to do this or find groups.  EVERYONE always ask how did you find me ! In fact all my friends are asking me to comeback cause their lost without me( not because I'm good, but I use your method in getting groups, and we never missed a dungeon).

I've been playing the Vanguard trial, and I'm a little hesitant because of the low population issue. If I do decide on Vanguard I'll try and take my past knowledge of MMO's to insure I maximize my resources to find groups, friends and a good guild.

I took a screen shot of your post to help along the way Etwynn. Another Little hint I'll use is to find a Guild that uses Ventrilo ( third party chat program ), so I can ask questions.

Maybe im just a harsh bastard, but personally I don't like it when i get    lfg?     in a tell. If someone says they need my class specifically or they are someone I have grouped with in the past that is fine, but random lfg tells aggivate me a little.

Depends on what I'm doing and how many LFG??? tells I have received in the past hour or two.   I usually don't mind them, most of the time I'm just jerking around doing nothing big.  If I am busy I'll ask them to help me finish a quest or two and I'll join, win win.
